They have the classic hollywood "hate hate" relationship going.

She has a dragon fetish. He is a dragon ~~fetish~~.

Come on!

There is a 100% chance they're both alive, going to save each other in the end, and romance. Boom, drago(o)n babies. Hooray!

I'm honestly rather disappointed by how none of our fallen companions have come back as ghosts to encourage us yet. You'd think the writers had never played a Final Fantasy game before.

Well, the Echo grants a sort of life after death, right? My bet is ghost!Ysayle will be the key to restoring Estinien's sanity. He may stay in Nidhogg's body, though.

With how much more she's done with the Echo than we have, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she comes back entire.

Picked up alot of tension between Iceheart and Estinien too, which is really a shame because Estinien is a tool and Iceheart deserves better. So it is my duty to ship Iceheart and ME.

Seriously though my favorite ship so far has to be the elven maid and the dragon, can't remember their names.

And those hollywood stories are *stupid as hell*, so I'm glad it didn't happen. Believe it or not, people who fundamentally despise what each other are all about don't exactly make the best romantic partners. This wasn't a spat over both wanting the same watermelon at the grocery store.

Personally, I also didn't like Estinien very much. He had his moments, but he seemed like an obstinate tool for the most part.

I didn't ship them, but I did like their "buddy cop" dynamic, if you will. I still wish there was a moment where they had to stay behind to fight off a horde of enemies while "accidentally" getting too close to hitting each other.

Not going to lie, there's no way Ysayle is dead dead. She's going to come back in two or three patches, and she's going to be the key to helping Estinein free himself from Nidhogg. It'll make the dragon beatable. Then they decide it should be them to finally end the Dragon Song War, become Anima, and drag Nidhogg to hell. Then we tear up because they have to remain there to ensure he never comes back, and while they'll never say it, it'll be ok because they have each other.

I believe he was mostly annoying because of the dragons eye. I think it was trying to take control over him for 24/7 which probably made him so... bi*chy.
