Are there any plans to add Aetherochemical Research Facility to any of the daily Roulettes?
There are currently no issues getting party members, since the content is new, but down the line there might be problems getting a group, since it's the only dungeon not on any Roulette list. It'd be great if it were added to Main Scenario Roulette so that we could have more than two options for that one.

I also thought it was in the Expert roulette, but read it wasn't. I can guess the reason: it is much easier than Fractal or Neverreap (and many times there are new people and you get the bonus tomes.) If in the same duty roulette there are dungeons with different difficulty you may well end having people quit as soon as they see it is the difficult one they got. This happened with Pharos Sirius when the roulettes were created and the dungeon was not yet nerfed.
There is also other difference: it has no drops. Even then, if you only want the tomes, and you have already done the expert roulette, it's a nice option, since you may get the bonus tomes and it is much less risky than Fractal (until most people has better gear and knows the dungeons much more.) -

I really don't understand why they didn't just put Valerian gear in the Aetherochemical Research Facility and place it under Expert Roulette.

I have the feeling it might be in low level, but I can't see people queueing often for low level roulette at 60 when there's EXP to be gained for other classes. Or for Main Story given it still only gives Poetics at the moment.

If it's in anything, it would be in the Main Scenario Roulette (since CM and Prae are in there). I don't know anyone who uses the Main Scenario roulette though so don't know.

Main Scenario Roulette are for 8 man "dungeons". Those 2 old lv50 ones, and that's it.
The Aether Research Facility is 4 man, so it's definitely not there. -

I am having major issues trying to clear this dungeon. I wait an hour and a half for it to que and then the tank always quits out. I am a dps. I have a small fc and no one has a healer or my tank at 60 as of yet. I tried to put it in pf and I waited several hours but no one joined. This has caused me to actually debate not subscribing to ffxiv next month since I can't get this dungeon done to access endgame content and how the player community in general has been in regards to this dungeon. I understand it doesn't drop loot but this is getting to the point of frustration. My fc forms a static with another small fc so maybe I can beg them to join idk. I will keep trying for a little while more but I feel SE should had put a triple triad card or minion in this dungeon to encourage people to run it more.

I'll play devil's advocate a little.
If it was in expert then i'd be a bit disappointed as it doesn't not inherently give esoterics. I don't want to farm law with expert... I can do that with all of the other roulettes.
Now if they added esoterics into the mix... then that would be stellar. -
