Why do I have to get something so useless??

Ok so can anyone explain why the heck I have been getting untradable gather items from my exploration 18? They are useless... Antumbral rocks, umbral rocks, fragrant logs? Seriously? I am long passed Lucis... Every night I send them out and get the same stuff back. What is the point of them being in there when no one is even trying to get these? Anyone else getting anything better from theirs? 3/3 nights I got these every single time. :mad::confused:

You can sell them you know. Its kinda stupid for them to be gatherable, but you can get a little bit of gil for them. Unless they ninja added something else to do with them?

Yes true. Just curious though of what anyone else is getting from their botanist or miner for these ventures. Debating if it worth to keep sending them out on them.

Well I'm sending my Botanist retainer to farm stalks of Ramie atm
Had him gather some other stuff before tooi'm sure it'll be useful for leveling up WVR/CUL/ALC crafts

The normal lv51+ "botany" ventures gatherable stuff are much more useful than the junk the exploration ventures bring, and give nice exp if you are online to send them back every hour or so, imho

Well I'm disappointed, my botanist retainer just hit 60 awhile ago and haven't been bringing anything back useful on the XVIII explorations. Guess back to Highland Wheat or something that I can actually use. I own all DoH and DoL lucis and they are just taking space right now =/ Should make them storable in armoire like the base i55 crafter/gatherer mainhands.

Yea that is my issue as well. I have all the lucis already so have no use for the trade in items anymore. Figured I would just skip the 18 hour lvl 55 one and just send them to farm me junk. I will wait till I get the lvl 60 one and see since the pup minion comes from one of them.

I did not see a exploration for lv60 with when my botanist hit 60 =/ highest was XVIII, maybe I had to relog or something

Sadly no they aren't lol I just tried and it isn't a selection =/. Just according to this it says lvl 60 retainer ventures unless they mean the 1 hour things? http://www.xiv-minions.com/minions/gestahl.php lol Idk I will have to research it more =D
