PS4 Launcher Error

Is anyone else getting an error code when trying to update from the launcher on PS4? I keep getting "An error has occurred. NP-36147-1."

Yep! Ive been getting that too... Im unable to even log in >.>

Oh don't say that. Haha. I'm at work and haven't been able to try to update or log in on my PS4 yet. Now I'm going to worry! :P

Both my roommate and I are currently getting this same error.

Same error (NP-36147-1)…click ok then asked to hold PS button to close application. This occurred right after I updated the game. Restarted both launcher and PS4 system with no changes. Cannot log into the game at all.

I'm getting that error as well. I restarted the PS4, checked that I was connected to the internet, and even went to my notifications and clicked the "Final Fantasy XIV Update File Downloaded" note. The next thing I'll try is a total uninstall/reinstall, but I'd rather not do that on my crappy connection >.>; so I'm hoping this gets resolved before then.

I swear, when ever Ff14 gets an update that adds content PS4 players are always locked out by some connection issue. Either is related to the launcher or the psn network.

Getting same error when trying to login as well.

Same... What is this issue? We pay I know expansion just came out and all, But this is straight up horrible almost worth not playing because of the issues now days :(

PSN is undergoing maint. Roughly 2hrs...

Had to relog to fix a connection issue and now I'm locked out. I don't see anything about maint only that ps4 psn has gone down...for a change.

This is NOT PSN I checked. I can stil chat and play other games.

If you google it players can still chat and use Netflix but can't connect to the store or games.

I hope that's all it is (all, heh.) Because I downloaded the patch just fine, it installed it, and now when I try to launch, it won't even get to the login info, just gives me that error others have mentioned and makes me close out the application with the PS button.

It's PSN. Game works just fine on PC.

Well, the fact that it works on PC doesn't mean it HAS to be PSN, it could be something up with the patch for PS4.

Why hasn't the issue been resolved by now? Surely it's not that difficult to fix, whether it's SE's problem or PSN's problem. :/ I can't sign in. So much for raid day.

Hmm... I guess that means I have to do the things I've been neglecting for the past few weeks... like clean the house.

I am trying to contact SE about this, because it has to be a Patch issue... Its what it is coming down too, how is someone next door from me playing FF right now.. I thought regional til we spoke..

When did they log in? I could easily be mistaken, but my understanding is/was that PSN being down only affects whether you can get into the game in the first place or not, and it coming down afterward doesn't affect you if you're already in and playing.

Like I said, could be wrong. But if I'm right, and your friend(s) started playing earlier before PSN started having fits (again), that could be why.

Someone on my raid team is on ps4 playing all day so if you were logged on before it went down you are fine if you stay logged in. launcher works on ps3 version so its deffo psn as the ps4 needs psn to launch it whereas the ps3 doesn't

Alright, cool not just me then, haha. Maan I shouldn't have logged off-_-

I guess the moral of the story is... forsake any jobs and families and your health to just stay logged into the game 24/7?

yeah if they were already logged in that makes sense, Lets hope they know its an issue so it can be fixed. if not we will be waiting awile.

Sucks it happened on patch day, I always put my system to rest mode so it keeps me logged in. I had to restart it to get the patch. -.-

Same issue here on PS4 in Toronto. Can't access Playstation store either just sits at a blue screen. Pretty sure it's a PSN issue, their status page pretty clearly says they are having issues and that you may not be able to use or launch applications.

Other PSN connected games are working as expected for me except for this one, except I tried to access the PS4 store itself and got a similar message saying maintenance. Prob new Tuesday released. Attempting to assess PS4 via other games also bring up this code even if it was working otherwise.

Please let's have a redesign of the launcher $ verification for PS4 players that has a way of validating our access to play without impeding our ability to do so. Sony's system may be at the core of things, but it's not like SE is some kinds of Indie Games company with little leverage or clout to have changes made on their behalf.

Same still down for me, and it's storming like crazy here now, and gym night was last night, ugh tonight was perfect! I can't even access the store period, no error or anything.
