Aside from the skill Byregot's Blessing, I don't feel that there are useful crafts for CRP.
Admittedly, a lot of their best stuff is housing items, but I noticed they make crafting rings in the expack. Spears, bows, and afew scattered other items are good.
They added quite a few new crafter accessories as CRP recipes.
GSM still has earrings, CRP got rings, necks and wrists for the lv51+ gear.
Not sure if this is still true for lv60 accessories.
Other than that, CRP is the housing furniture king. Also crafts pretty much every BRD weapon, many DRG weapons, some WHM/BLM rod/staff and a few shoes for crafter/gatherer.
Fishing Rods.
Carpenter crafts all of the right side accessories for crafting, apart from the earrings. (which is GSM)
Thanks! Looks like CRP is better this expansion.
Imo carp post 3.0 is just meh, we already get extra byregot actions
Aka byregots brow & miracle.
Sure byregots blessing still has uses but often u will want to brow instead if u get that tasty
Great strides, innovation with good proc Brow.
The accessories seem ok like its not needed but its still something unlike the leftsided gear wvr / ltw produces at level 60.
Imo carp is a must have if one of ur main crafts is wvr.
Also yea pretty much carp is the furniture king.
Byregot's Brow is better than Byregot's Blessing when your Inner Quiet number is on the low end of the scale - from 1 through 5. At 6, the two moves are equal in Efficiency. At 7 through 11, Blessing is better. Brow starts out at 150%, but only increases by 10% for every IQ stack beyond the number 1. Blessing, as you know, starts off at 100%, but increases by 20%.
On top of that, with Blessing being useable on Excellent, Good, AND the ultra-common Normal, it is far more useful than Brow, which is only usable on the rare Excellent and Good conditions.
I can see Brow being useful if you got really unlucky with your Hasty Touch spam, or if you are just now leveling a craft up and did not have good gear from 2.x .... but other than that, it is not a very useful move at all.
Ah i guess i just got use to it on the 1 star crafts cuz a lot of my hastys would fail/ barely any goods till the end of my finisher lol. Then i use brow cuz of the 18 cp lol. When im 1 short cp of blessing & its good im like o ya i have brow what a life saver.
If you find yourself a couple CP short of what it takes for a Blessing, that really only bespeaks of poor planning on your part, or proper planning but poor execution. It takes 96 CP to Steady Hand, Great Strides, Innovation, Byregot's Blessing. You should aim to have at least that much CP when you are ready to do your finisher; 99 CP if you have one or two Touches left when you refresh Steady Hand 2. Proper planning and mathemagicks are the key - know how many Hasty Touches you can turn into Basic (or, at level 53, Precise) Touch without running out of CP for a proper finisher.
Add 14 CP to that if you want to, for Observe. 32 instead of 14 if you like to use Ing 2 as a Good/Excellent fishing move instead of Observe (or, if you need to use Ing 2 for the Progress when you are done).
