The armor looks so boring

Not a fan of the dragoon gear personally. Really liked the music has a very different feel to it from what we have been getting.

The music though, ( ' - '

not sure how to feel about it

it's a change, at least!

Was i seeing that right or is the Ninjas face (when they Show the gear clad in shadows? normaly Hoods don't give that effect.

When i hear the music I keep thinking about God Eater for some reason.

It reminds me of the music style they're using for Xenoblade X... which has me hella hype

I don't like the music. In fact I absolutely hate it. It's not the music itself that I hate, but the fact that the music does not fit the archaic machination steampunk type theme of the raid. It doesn't ring goblin steampunk. The music sounds like it belongs in a futuristic dungeon full of neon colors.

I don't know but I do like the look of the Ninja gear set. The Ninja's weapon is nice looking as well.

Has they mysterious assassin look to it I've been yearning for my vanity.

Side story just like the Coil raids. Not compulsory for anyone to complete to progress with the main story but is a bonus for anyone who manage to.

Same thoughts. I might grow to like it during the content, but from what has been teased, opinion towards it is fairly low.

Looooove the music, not sure how i feel about the raid though. The gear is very generic and boring. And i don't like goblin concept, what made coil good was exploring the remains of an ancient civilization. One that was undone by their own creations. Very good story, but gobilins? D:, curious to see where SE takes this one. I am sure yoshi will be able to wow us like he did with coil :D

That Ninja gear almost makes me want to start playing them again to get to 60..

To be fair based on what it seems like they are going with Alexander itself doesn't have anything to do with the goblins, just the Illuminati found out how to go about reactivating it. And since it was almost certainly around when the Allagans were around...futuristic makes sense.

Looks neat, music will be interesting :D. For whatever reason it also made me want to have a more peaceable high tech interior as well, maybe a large airship (FC with way too much money, lol).

Actually, in FFXIV, Alexander is the goblins' primal, a living mechanical fortress. No relation to Allagan anything. That's why it has the look and feel of goblin creations.

Titan is the primal of the goblin tribe?

btw... i like the visuals of alexander in this trailer much more till now, than the ugly coil. i like the trailer so far.
i skipped coil but i think im going to give alexander a try.

As far as i know: nothing said about that yet.

But i would expect it.

So...three things...

The music I like, because I feel old, and I get a bit of a "Mr Roboto" vibe to it...which is very fitting considering its Alexander. I can't wait for Tuesday...so we can get our hands on the music and maybe find out just what exactly they're singing...heh

The Ninja looks like he stepped straight outta Diablo...if the Alexander gear keeps the sorta "Sanctified" or "Holy" look, I'm okay with it...not a fan of the tank helm for this first outting though...it is very "Alexander" though.

and finally,

I was honestly surprised there wasn't more story set up for Alexander...you get to the Hinterlands and you see where its supposed to be, you see all the goblins, and you go through it and no mention of the place whatsoever...you finish the story and the scene tacked on to the end basically has Cid going "Dag nabbit its a primal!", and me going "First, what the heck is it...and Second, how the heck do you know its a primal?"

Music is kinda bad but I guess it's not as bad as Coil's.

Armor sets are just kind of mix and match of eachother. The healer one and the tank one look great, the rest look kinda bad.

Also weird that goblins are wearing their masks inside of Alexander considering they wouldn't be breathing the outside air anymore.

Hopefully the bosses are fun, looking forward to the ideas they came up with.

I don't like the Gear. We are a FANTASY Game, like the Name already says and we get "Sci-Fi" Gear. Hated the Garlond already srsly...

Since final fantasy one, final fantasy has had sci-fi elements. In fact it wouldn't be final fantasy without them. It's not FANTASY. It's FINAL FANTASY, where anything and everything goes. And sci-fi is a type of fantasy all the same.

I think the music sucks and the gear looks boring as hell. The environment looks fun though.

It's like watching a scene of a Michael Bay Transformers movie... can't tell who's who.
