Where did you set your homepoint and why?

It will probably be different based upon preferences for DoW, DoM, DoL, DoH.

For me I'm trying out setting it to Falcon's Nest. I think it's quicker to get to the mining and botany scip nodes from Coerthas Western than to return to Idyllshire and fly from there.

What do you guys do and what do you think is best?

limsa lominsa, the crystal is set right by the market boards, retainer bells, and mender

Idyllshire, since it's the new Mor Dhona in a way.

Currently Foundation since I always go there to grab hunts and leves.

My free tele is Idyllshire.

3 faves are Gridania, Limsa and Uldah.

Home=Limsa, I go to my grand company a lot, and it's also near bango zango and the market board.
Favorites=Gold Saucer, Foundation, Idyllshire

I concur on the thanalan topsoil, but can you utilize both a FC mini aetheryte and a personal home aetheryte in another city state to free up 2 favored destinations? I think having a favored destination cuts the teleport cost in 1/2 and housing aetheryte is by 3/4th?

Return point: Gridania. Has been since I started and allows me to get to the Ixali dailies easier.
Favored Destination 1: The Golden Saucer (I spend more time here than I like to admit)
Favored Destination 2: Limsa (mostly for Grandcompany stuff)
Favored Destination 3: Idyllshire (previously Mor Dhona)
Free Destination: Ishgard

I've got a personal house in uldah, my FC is located in limsa, so I think i'll have the free return to ishgard. I can set Idyllshire to favored and 2 other spots i think falcons nest and idk.. Maybe Gridania?[

Home: Mor Dhona, for daily HLR quest
Free: Ishgard
Favored: Idyllshire
Favored: Ul'dah, for daily GC turn-in
Favored: Moghome, because I set it here while leveling and have found no need to change it

My daily routine is Return to Mor Dhona, teleport to Ul'dah, free shuttle to Golden Saucer, shuttle to Gridania (Ixali daily), Ishgard.

Return: Gridania. It's my starting city and it's where my grand company is at.
Favorites: Gold Saucer, Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa, but I'll probably drop Limsa Lominsa as my FC has housing in the Mist and same with Ul'dah because I've already got the Gold Saucer as a favorite.

preferred are idyllshire, limsa, and mor dhona. limsa is where my fc chose for their estate, and the other two are self-explanatory.

What's the dailr hlr quest that's in nor dhona?

Home point I literally change like every two minutes.

Idyllshire is my free warp.
Favs are... ul'dah, n shroud, and more dhona. I haven't changed them in forever. Probably should though but right mow tele costs arent bugging me.

Azys Lla, it looks sexy. I never use return anyways, since I have a haus.

The old 2.x relic quest for the Nexus. It used to require the Expert Roulette, now it requires High Level Roulette.

Too bad you can't set it to specific aetherytes, instead of the main one in the cities.

My home point constantly changes. Right now it's Limsa b/c the aetheryte is so close to everything, but I often find myself setting it to Ul'Dah b/c Ul'Dah is my fav. city (yet it's a pain to run all the way to the market area). Sometimes if I'm doing a quest that makes me go to the same area many times, I'll set it there...depends, really.

Gridania, as it's my home (as well as the location of my FC's house), with favourites set at Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah and also Gridania as well (seeing as Return has such a long cool down). It was pretty much the same as I had it set in 1.0 as well.

I have recently thought about maybe switching the home point location to Ishgard's Foundation, but so far, the status quo has been maintained. ;)

Though I do plan to change it eventually, just keep forgetting when I go to Foundation.

Home is foundation, favorites in the other 3 city states, I think my freebie is still falgourd float because I go there for ixals/relic stuff all the time should probably change that one.

Limsa, because that's home for Shuu. Simple as that. ^^ (And Gridania for Shri, because that's home for him.)
