Please fix unspoiled gathering nodes to not disappear just from backing out.

I'm posting this in the community forum because I'm not sure if SE even reads DoL forums.

Basically I can't count how many times I wasted teleport gil and time to go to an unspoiled node at the time and zone it comes up. They last 1 EZ hour now. Yet if you accidentally back out, or intentionally maybe due to being forced to move or checking something with abilities or inventory, or inventory full and you need to make space, etc, the node disappears robbing you of your gathering node and attempts. There is absolutely no reason for this. The node should only disappear if the 1 hour has passed or you used up your gathering attempts on it, whichever comes first. This has happened 3 times of the past 5 unspoiled nodes.

Regardless of whether it is intended or not it needs to be fixed since there's no reason for it. And if you point out botters as a reason, then no. They were just able to teleport one node to another and gather for someone. Botters still had the same amount of gathering attempts as everyone else, as in the node disappears once you've used up your gathering attempts.

Can't you check beforehand if you have all your abilities on your hotbar and if you have ample space in your bags before hitting the node?

It's to easy to exploit

Run up to node, engage the node, use GP , back away use GP pot go back with it unlocked and full GP. It's this way for a reason and isn't going to change, if you are out gathering you should be well aware on how many empty slots you have and what the abilities you have.

You can go in your inventory and drop items without leaving the node. FYI.

As well as check abilities or anything else. But basically, go in prepared.

This makes no sense because the regular nodes do not disappear when you back out, so no it isn't there for this reason. Also, you can use a GP pot while still in a node.

This is exactly the reason why you can't back out from a node. You are supposed to use your 600 - 650GP wisely depending on the situation at hand. Not leave the node, pop a High Cordial, milk the timer for every spare GP, and jump in at the last second spending 1200GP. The Unspoiled Nodes are not designed to let you do everything. You chose between raising success %, HQ %, or higher yields. System is designed this way to have players make a choice on what they want to do when it comes to rare nodes.

Also, no, you cannot use Cordials while you are engaged with a Node. It's never been possible since 2.0.

But that's just it. You wouldn't be milking the timer because as I said the node would disappear after you use all gathering attempts OR time runs out, whichever comes first. So it's not like you can stay there the entire hour and gather as much as you want. As for the Cordials I could of sworn I did plenty. Must of been food and manuals I popped while in a node.

There is a reason. If you could back out and retake it then you could use Cordials and Hi Cordials. So works as intented.

or fix that the new node disappear from 55 minute in game time instead of full 60 minutes

You backed out of the unspoiled node.

You spoiled it.

More importantly, can they please change you getting kicked out of a node you've already started gathering in when time's up? Let us gather how we want when we've already opened it, so if you're a tad late getting there you can still get everything you need from it.
