So does anyone know what the best way to level a 2nd job to 60. As in what will get you to 60 the fastest. I used the quests to get first job to 60 but since I don't have anymore quests.

~FATES. - No one is doing the early FATEs, which for a second job are worth 20 - 25k each and cleared in a few minutes solo because they aren't being zerged.
~Roulettes (High, Low and MSQ, worth 200k~ each)
~Level 1 and 2 Hunts.
~Dungeons.
~Remember Food Buffs and FC Action Heat of Battle.
~Always log out in an Inn Room.
In about 10 hours of play, i've gotten my BRD from 50 to 54 (My MCH was my first 60)
NT Fate from 50 to 51
Spam dungeons from 51 to 60 (and solo NT fates during queue time).
I got MNR60 fairly quick using food & FC boosts via Levequests, so I'd GUESS that DoW/M/H level fairly quickly that way too. At higher levels I was getting 200k+ per leve
I agree with Ooshima, except I wouldn't even bother with the level 51 dungeon. I'd stay in NT and do fates until 55, maybe even 57.
Do your hunts as your second job - level 1 and level 2 hunts are easily doable with a level 50-51 job and net you over 200k in total. Do low level roulettes when you no longer need the 100 law (because gearing up was really fast this time around) and then do dungeons as usual.
I've been told Northern Thanalan is still the fastest way to level, but damn - not going back there for a looong time.
Don't discount the new daily hunt targets, they give 20-25k per each completion. Just be mindful of the targets levels depending on what level you are.
Northern Thanalan Fates are good. Ive been doing Duty Roullette's and then also whatever dungeon is highest for my level and Im almost already 58.
N. Thanalan is the fastest until you can run the Vault at 57 (provided the area is busy and Fates are cleared quickly).
Hopefully new area's Fates will be buffed in the future or N. Thanalan nerfed post 50.
On my way to my 3rd 60 that way.
You still can solo NT fates while waiting for queue and get gold for all fates except Gorgimera/Dark Devices depending on how fast the zerg is. Peak I'd get silver for gorgi/dd, non peak I still can try to score a gold.
DF teams typically takes 35-40mins per dungeon run. At the very basic Lvl 51 dungeon you get 300K XP without rested bonus. That is an average of 7.5K XP per min assuming a 40mins run. For The Great Library it is 500K per run without rested bonus gives a rate of 12.5K XP a min based on a 40mins run.
On the other hand, NT fates are 21K per fate an average of 1 fate completed per 5mins, which translate to 4.2K XP a min. That's too slow compared to dungeons. As such you should always queue for dungeons no matter what your queue times are, and solo NT fates while waiting.
I've competed my MCH last weekend and queue times ain't bad. Sometimes instant pop, or under 5mins wait time, even at ungodly hours like 4am. There's just loads of people trying to level up multiple jobs now.
I'd agree if you'd always get a good group, but in my experience, Fates have been quicker than running dungeons until I reached the Vault (and I'm seeing the same on my 3rd class right now), too many dps are just not pulling enough damage in dungeons.
I still run dungeons while doing some Fates on the side though, just for my own sanity's sake.
That being said, I REALLY hope they'll make Fates in Heavensward's areas worth it in the future. I've done quite a few and while it's not optimal xp wise, it's fun to run in these areas and discover new Fates.
