Pet Glamour Release Date?

Any chance that the pet glamour is going to be in patch 3.1 or 3.2?

Hope it's soon, Ruby Carbunce and all the references to Ramuh-Egi in the new SMN quests were a massive c***-tease :(

Just in case, I'll be leveling summoner now, because bane is cool, because SS is cool, because I'll get my carbuncle. Because I'm the WHM of the static and if mayhaps our dear SCH is away one day and we have a possible WHM to invite for few runs I could go SCH.

Yeah I was pretty annoyed at their lore reasoning for why we can't summon Ramuh, Leviathan or Shiva. Apparently they take more aether to summon and we don't have enough... Kinda tramples all over the previously established lore that you can summon them with any amount and their strength is based on the amount used. That was such a horrible tease, especially given how annoyed much of the SMN community was with that decision.

I hope we can hear more about this pet glamour system soon.

Yeah it bugged the hell out of me, I wonder what convoluted lore they'll make up to justify pet glamours.
Unless they do a complete 360 down the road, I'm guessing we won't ever get real new pets. :/

I too have been wondering about this since it was mentioned

i beleave it was mentioned to be in 3.1, in live letter XX or XXI, i think it was said that it wouldn't be ready for the launch but shortly after, so heres hoping 3.1 :D

To be honest, isnt that what they said about alot of features? I think it would be best to wait untill we see it mentioned in a Live letter/Blog or a Patch trailer, otherwise I dont think it will come. Things like Frontier took alot longer to come then what Yoshi-P promised and stuff like the FC Primal summon might still come or not.

Great a carbuncle with a tiara on being carried around in a pink purse, can't wait.

I really REALLY want Bahamut as a skin option.

REALLY WANT BAHAMUT! Would dish out IRL cash for it for real, I would seriously spend $50 on it not even joking. I LOVE Bahamut, fave summon in the entire FF series since he was first introduced. BAHAMUT FOR LIFE <3

No.. stop.. stop before they hear you! they might just add the pet skins to mog station..

It was pretty easy to skip, but if you speak with Alphinaud throughout he does say, on more than one occasion, that he believes he's learned quite alot in his travels and believes he can maybe create a different type of carbuncle.

We know the devs already plan on having pet skins, but at the very least there might be lore about how/why we can glamour our pets

They mentioned no specifics on timeframes at all. They quite simply said "we're not adding new pets but we may give you a glamour option". Given the number of other things they've briefly mentioned in this way I honestly wouldn't make any assumptions about it ever actually getting implemented. Not unless people keep pestering them to give a release date like this.

I think given the hundreds of threads about it by summoners - there's definitely a demand. And if there's on thing the devs are good about, it's prioritizing the demands of the fans in most cases.
