I promised the localization team that I would name mine Ferne. Guy went pretty far out of his way to type up lore points for us, and really helped my understanding of Eorzea's taxonomy when I was building the Wiki's new bestiary standards.

Hate to break the party, but I doubt the chocobos will have dual names ;/ Like you can only give one name to your retainer for example. So... Think twice ^^
