Meh, they always respawn. The only thing that truly dies is A) the bad guys and B) a main character whenever Square feels bored.

There is nothing funnier than watching someone on a Coeurl mount (or a bear or lion or some such) being chased through the forest by half a dozen wild chocobos. Don't let that cute face fool you. They'll murder you in your sleep.

Should have different type of chocobo enemy.Like the red ones in FF tactics that drop meteor on our heads.

They had me killing children in MorDhona. SE is sick sometimes.

Don't let your judgment be clouded by sympathy OP, those chocobos would kill you and your family if you dropped your guard for even a moment!

Why don't you go to the chocobo forest, hug one of those birds and see what happens?

i did it. it was worth every peck...until i snapped the poor thing's neck.

When I have my chocobo out, and I have to defend myself from an attacking chocobo, mine is always squawking something about "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD".

I ate and cook chocobo's and moogles before the expansion came out.

I'd lure them out of the woods with treats.
