Have 2 copies of (NA) FFXIV:HW (PC)... a cancelled preorder didn't cancel...

Basically i tried pre-ordering at amazon first then cancelled like 3 or 4 times after noticing that i'd have to wait for the code and it wasn't instant. I proceeded over to the official Square site and made my pc purchase and got the code for early access and everything the same time. ...Next day Amazon charges me despite my attempts to cancel...wth!!... I now have a copy that i'd like to sell via paypal so i can buy my ps4 version or trade with any one who may be in a similiarly, sucky situation.

Can't you just send it back to amazon as I assume it's still unopened?

Guys I wish i could. They sent me the code, in my e-mail inbox; and there policy doesn't allow for refunds after the code is sent :(... I think I'm stuck. I'm hoping someone is in a similiar situation that i can help them out and vice versa.

Ouch I'd still contact them on the fact that you couldn't cancel the order before getting the code. When you do word or like that and the could still give you a refund or credit from them for the trouble. I did that (not for the same reason) with ARR and got a nice credit from them for the hassle. I say put the game on ebay or Craigs list of you have it.

If you can show you tried to cancel (ie a cancellation email) they will have to give you the refund. Amazon, I believe, do send emails to confirm cancellation. If you recieved an email Amazon have to refund you as you believed it had been cancelled, if not they can say that you should have chased it up.

I'll try to contact them then. Fingers crossed!!
