Thavnarian cloth/leather & dusk leather

Soooooo since they aren't a craft
Does that mean its either a
- desynth
- retainer venture item
- map drop
?
Anyone managed to obtain some?

Yeah, if it's not that, the other options I see are:
DoL Aetherial Reduction
Buy with some new tomestones or scrips


No idea which one it is though

They come from the new 8-man level 60 maps: Dragonskin Maps. Its an item the whole party rolls on.

Yeah. Me and a few friends have been doing them all week and so far we've gotten a few. they are a rare drop but my friend and I were able to get our Thavnarian Silk (Got a few Thav. Leathers too) for out Thavnarian Bustiers from the maps. The dusk leather, however, I have yet to see drop. If the dusk leather drops at all from maps, I'm not sure.

I just did 10 maps and got 1 leather and 2 silks. Leather has to be super rare or doesn't at drop at all.

Edit: Yeah some one on my server said they got dusk from their map, but it can be a troll? I think its mostlikely retainer or airship.

No wonder these mats are very expensive and those Thavnarian Glamour are going for 10m minimum.

Got a Thav Silk on my very first Dragonskin Map... Sold for 6.5million.
While I want the Bustier and other pieces, I can wait until they become common and dirt cheap.

So no one has found dusk leather lol

It's 90% legit its airship. Because the fine alumen whatever its called is from airship so.. yeah.

It will be ingame with the next patch. Which means you can't get it yet.

Hopefully not in treasure maps as well. 16 Maps done and still no Thav Leather or Thav Silk..

No mention yet, a GM only told me that it will be ingame with the next patch ^^

It's actually already in the game. Some players have already found it. It comes from a high-level CUL desynth.

Yes I saw that today too - wonder what the GM was talking about :D

Looks like that picture of the Dusk Leather that that JP player posted is fabricated. I'm not disappointed that someone fabricated it, rather, I'm sad that Dusk Leather may not be available in the game yet as you have said. Most likely that it will come from the new frontlines. :x

only the thav leather and silk has ever dropped from dragonskin maps and for those who are new though it recommends 8 people to be in teh pt you simply need 3 people in pt to clear one of these maps.
Dusk leather has never dropped from these maps its unconfirmed and will stay that way until there is a screenshot of it dropping from a map.

Its already a month? Into HW so where is this so called " dusk leather ".
Imo its narrows down to airship/ desynth if it is ingame already.
If se could just clarify if it was ingame or not atm that'd be great.
We still get to find out how to get it but we also get to know we aren't wasting our time for something tht isn't in game yet.

since the GM told me it wasn't ingame pre patch 3.05... it actually should be available as of last week but the question is how

Me along with god knows how many other people Maxed out our Cul Desynth on folklore fish going from that first post about it coming from one. It Does not come from desynthing any of the folklore fish

Y can't a dev clear this up <_>
it'll help clear all this confusion up. Cuz honestly it has to be from a rank 40 airship route or something but its seems a bit overboard for a glamour material.

I'm sorry to hear that. When someone in my FC said it was reported as a fish desynth I laughed my behind off.

I tried desynthing the trailblazer boots etc got none. Bgskskbdjebdjdjdvdjsbh where art thou dusk leather.

what about retainer ventures? high lvl ones could be any class! fisher , miner , botanist or even combat classes!

Dusk leather has finally appeared on Ultros. I messaged them asking where from. No reply..

The answer is literally a thread below this!
