Current best method to grind law tomestones?

I have tried the aetherochemial and it was.... .... not to give spoilers but while the boss had my jaw drop and it was amazing and freaking awesome... FARMING THAT?!?!?!!? Farm... THAT!?!?!?

That boss fight is WAYYYYYY too hard to farm, especially considering how many newcomers enter (and I was one of them) and potentially cause wipes (I almost did and I main scholar...).

So what do I do?

Why not just do the level 60 dungeons?

seems nevereap can be done fairly quickly if you have ppl who know what they are doing

too bad there is only 2 dungeons at max lvl :(

so there are 2 endgame dungeons. both can be done in under 30 min
Nevereap is a bit slower due to mechanics
You can speedrun both (pull mass groups of mobs)
But you can't do any lock-outs, so have to kill everything

Both are really fun.

Athero is not one, the other 2 both drop loot. they all get progressively easier as group iLvs go up.

By next weekend both will be decimated quickly as everyone gears out. Between that and huntspam lots will be i180 soon (some already are)

Best way to farm at least on a day to day method is to run your roulettes which should give you a few hundred tomes of law. Expert, High and Low give nice amounts as well as the Trial roulette. On top of that if you do expert roulette with a 1st timer you get law bonus as well. Once you do those for the day like most people stated just spam the level 60 dungeons.

Welcome to launch content, which is usually rather empty with the endgame part of the game. They are banking the majority of players will take their sweet time leveling at least 2-5 jobs (possibly more), do more crafting and gathering, and maybe for the crazies - leveling alts. This is the same exact problem at 2013 launch, 2 main missions you gotta spam till you absolutely hate them, 2 endgame dungeons that cause people to gear check and abandon if other players deemed insufficient (and will cause you to deal with 30-45 minutes run instead of speed running). At least we also had 3 primal hard mode trials as well (the infamous "sell for clear" Titan Hard Mode).

FF14 is not a game where "I want to be world first have everything to the max in the shortest amount of time possible". You need to savor it, take your time, enjoy the new areas, explore (and screaming expletive for having to deal with the insane aether quests). 1-2 weeks to get to 60 is rather normal. I for one wants to get my money's worth, by not speed leveling to 60 - there is no point doing this - unless your goal is to kill the game fast.

I'm sure we will see Bismarc/Ravana EX mercs soon if they aren't present already.

I wish I could grind Tomes, my DPS queue times are 30mins+. I hope in the coming days as more people get level 60, queue times will drop. I've just been doing the daily roulettes for tomes. I'll have full gear before alex for sure. But I guess it gives me time to finish DRK to 60.
