Things We Hate!

I see a things we love thread up, so how about some things we hate. Can be either ARR or HW!

1. Inability to do anything in the game while companion is out. (duty finder, invite friends to party, jump into instances)


2. Triple Triad RNG.. Love the game but the RNG is such a massive turn off.


3. Gating New Jobs behind the Main Story.

You are "missing" 3 entries in that list...

the horrifying lack of experience any activity in ishgard gives

MOOGLES.
IMITATION DRAGOONS THAT ARE ACTUALLY MOOGLES.

The lack of fate and dungeon EXP.

Moogles.

AF not being in the game even though it was teased a ton.

Moogles.

The lack of Au Ra customization even though it's all they talked about.

Another gripe i have is the lack of our character doing absolutely anything at all during cutscenes, please anything but another nod D:

i have ONE single issue with this fantastic game.

Jobs locked behind ALLOT of lvl50 SUPPER boring filler MSQ that takes days to complete..........

2. Doing quests for Moogles

3. Needing to stop the main story to grind millions of xp for every level.

4. Stupid bad guys that keep us unrestrained and fully armed. It breaks immersion damit. (Granted, the Gnath had an excuse. Ravana is badass)

The inevitability of power creep.

1. Side quest exp doesn't scale well. As a result, 57-59 was a HUGE drag for me, since I'm subject to DPS queues.
2. The way flying is obtained basically means that by the time you can obtain it for a given area, there's nothing important to do in the area anymore.
3. Temple Leves aren't really worth it for combat classes. The EXP is quite meager.
4. The trash in the two lvl60 dungeons are waaaaaay too durable for fresh 60's that aren't geared up in law stuff yet. Seriously.

That's about it for me off the top of my head.

5. Why is there no Aetheryte in the Dravanian Hinterlands? It's so annoying to have to teleport to Idyllshire and sprint out and then mount in order to react to a hunt callout.

People that want everything spoonfed to them.

The sceneries are beautiful but the Landscapes are so stupid when you have to travel on foot.Some terrain can obviously climb to get higher ground but you'll run into invisible wall instead.

3. as others have said, by the time you can fly in a zone, you're done with it
4. Odd exp scaling(I know I know, we don't have the 50% armory bonus anymore but still)

All these people complaining about the slow leveling, and all I had to do was a few dungeons and a bunch of the distinctly available and fairly simple quests available in each zone. I think I did maybe a half dozen fates, if that, and I hit 60 and cleared the story by the end of Early Access. The methods are there, and they're not necessarily the same thing as pre-Heavensward. Quests are your friends this go around, and the hunt marks are too.

And EXP scaled predictably. around 400k more is required for each level than it was for the last. Almost 4 million exp for 59-60.

There being no AF gear at release when they showed it so often like its already in the game.

I'm actually glad with that, as AF1 kinda nulified all drops from dungeons after 45 and then at 50 it was instantly replaced. Hoping AF will last longer this time than 1 dungeon.

My peeves:

1) Unable to mail between alts.
2) Unable to utilize my personal house on my alt.
3) A certain "Mongrel" in the MSQ isn't a creatable race XD (What can I say, Lilisette was my fave NPC in XI ^^ )

1. Companions still unusable when trying queue for any instanced content, this should have been fixed 2 years ago, still waiting.

2. WM for Bards, don't mess with my job please, it was fine, I wanted some new abilities, not an entire new play style..

1. well nothing very original here... Moogles. I used to love those flying plushes. Now, I'm scared to continue Moogle delivery quests...

2. Having WM up and a monster goes behind me: "casting interrupted". My apologies to every BLM I laugh at when that happened...
