Maintenance?

This wasn't posted on the lodestone or anywhere else. How long is it down for?

It was...10pm to 2am PST.

Just found the Heavensward launch post. 2am PST. Wasn't a standard downtime post. Happy xpac all.

Heck it warned to most of us yesterday. Though it was harder to find. I just noticed it yesterday while looking for notices saying that they might know about 2002, 5006, 90k and so on issues. But yes. 10pm PST to 2am PST. So another 3 hours from now.

The launcher also tells you right after you hit "play" and before it starts the game up.

It was strangely obscure ;) I wasn't on last night, so I didn't see any in game warning (by about 4PST). Figured they'd just roll right over, but it looks like we might get a small patch? (Then an hour and a half of disconnects lol.)

Yes. I know that. I was wondering where the note regarding maintenance was. There was nothing yesterday when I logged off or checked the lodestone yesterday evening. That's all.

Ohh, okay.
Not sure when they put the note up... I don't usually check before bed and I had logged on way early yesterday.

The launcher also posts ALL updates on the news feed before you log in. Its been posted for several days. You should make a habit of glancing at it during the version check.

Again, I know how the launcher works. Usually on the left there is a red font post that says something about "server maintenance". There was/ is nothing in the usual spot. The maintenance times are instead hidden in the Heavensward launch posts, which, the previous day's featured artwork and stuff.

On another note: does anyone have the Heavensward entitlement (collector's or normal) showing in Mogstation yet?

There was definitely an update there that you obviously didn't see. Its been pushed out now by all the stupid stickies they got but you can also hit the Read More button and you will clearly see the notice. But I am sorry you didn't see the notice when it was posted at least 2 days ago when I read it.

Can't even scroll down to the story in question in the launcher (on both PS3 and PC for me) I HAVE to go to lodestone to view that notice.

Whoa there, there now, we were all too busy playing and getting afkicked (the afk kick mechanic if you stayed afk for 10-30mns)) by the server (if we got in to the title screen) to go back to our launcher...for the past 2 days. We wouldn't have seen it unless we were one of the group who kept getting errors that forced us to load launcher again 2 days ago.

please calm down. As I said once we were able to get out to view the notice it reached the point in the launcher where neither controller controlled pointer or mouse pointer could reach.

I'm a lit'l bit hungry, for some of that "pizza"...

Yea SE feels the need to sticky all this crap, that I guess is kinda important, but personally I would rather them sticky downtime notices =P

Totally never saw that. And yeah, all the connection errors and such pushed it way into the abyss. I've been lucky that I haven't had a "full reboot the client error" since like Saturday.
