DRK mount...

Just different colour coeurl? Seems bit lame considering both PLD and WAR got unique mounts and not just a colour change of pre-existing ones. Though I suppose for people without CE yellow coeurl, they might be happy with it.

PETITION: SE, swap it out! Make it black-with-red Alpha Coeurl instead. PLEASE!

Gotta be honest, I feel cheated. Our PvP set is just a recolored Lionsmane knockoff, and our mount isn't even a unique model. I had hoped for something a bit more on the mythical/ fantastical side. Something to address the combination of magic and martial skills ( Manticore, Behemoth, Cerberus, ect...). Even Torma who combine some aspects of these would have been ok, were it not for the fact the gear in question very obviously names it as Lynx... It wont stop me from enjoying the game or from PvP, or for that matter getting the mount...eventually, as it is now however it will at the bottom of the to do list.

Well you know, they wanted to sell the good mounts for real money so... you got that :)

I have a coeurl mount and never use it because I just can't stand how low the character rides when sitting on one. My feet dangle so close to the ground I keep thinking I need to paddle Flintstone-style, and it looks goofy as heck. If I were interested in playing a DRK I'd be pretty disappointed over this choice of mount.

Complete 200 high level full party duties as a WAR/PLD/DRK respectively. One for each job.

What counts for the achievement completion: All turns of Coil (excluding T3), and all EX Primals only, as far as I know

It's even more apparent for us male Roe. The couerl mounts are so small.. We look like we're crushing them XD

Do healers get mounts for reaching milestones? Besides the level 30 WHM milestone where you get a unicorn... Nope. Tanks quit your moaning and be grateful.

You get a unicorn just for reaching level 30 and doing a 2 minute quest. Why would you say "besides that.."?

Conjurers get a unicorn just for reaching lvl 30. Thats infinitely easier than tank mounts.

The purpose of the tank mount is to encourage tanks that play it seriously and long term, queueing for high lvl duties and stick to it. It was encouragement because of the lack of tanks whereas dps and to a lesser extent, healers, were not in such short supply

You completely missed the point. We get 1 mount. You guys get how many? Don't complain. I feel like it's very unfair that DPS gets no mounts too, to add to this discussion. Without DPS healers and tanks would be lost, just like without tanks healers and DPS would be lost, and without healers tanks and DPS would be lost. Why do tanks get more? Seems pretty lame.

Personally I really like the way the mount looks.

None fo the mounts have unique models, except possibly the Paladin mount, depending on whether or not SE has added that model in as a mob yet in higher zones. (I'm only 56 currently)

The Warbear shares the exact same model as the polar bears in western highlands.

Those mount they put is like a copycat of ARR CE digital items (Like Parade Chocobo and that DRK coeurl), makes people who buy standard can achieve those mount, with some little hardwork lol

I am biased though, I already have the yellow one from the CE so this copy paste with colour change version does very little to inspire me to play a DRK unlike WAR and PLD mounts being more unique create a better incentive in general. I can understand for those without the yellow version it might be a nice mount and also another way to achieve something the CE owners have through in game effort though but like I said..I'm biased and because I already have the yellow one the DRK mount seems lazy and lame to me. I think the same about the EX ponies, copy pasted then made a different colour.

Was hoping for augmented ironworks motorcycle. Lol yeah yeah I know. Whatever.

I am not talking about being same model as non-mount beasts in game. I am talking about mounts and mounts alone. I do not care if there was blue, yellow or whatever pony 'mobs' in game as opposed to mounts or different colour bear 'mobs' in game...What I do not like is repeated use of the same model for multiple mounts not mobs.

What is everyone on about? That mount looks awesome. :)

I think I'd like it more if we didn't already have a Courl Mount. Yes it has horns added on, and its black, but it's still just very... lazy looking. Even the new PVP armors are just reskins of existing ones.

I'm actually more upset that the first title for DRK is "Dark Driver" instead of "The meat Sword" =\
