A useful tip for ALL Marauders

I just discovered that this is very very helpful. Level up pugalist until you reach rank 6 and get Second Wind ability, use that in the Marauder class. Then level up Conjurer until you are rank 4 and use Cure for Marauder. This easily triples your characters abilities to solo.

I don't use Second Wind. It costs too much stamina. I just used a combination of Cure and Sacrifice, then Cure II and Sac II when I got it, and now I have Sac III which is godly for soloing.

Also get shockspikes, that is another very helpful soloing skill.

Honestly, Second Wind costs too much stamina and doesn't heal enough. It's best to just take PGL up to rank 20 to get Prime Conditioning, then maybe to rank 30 to get Accomplice if you are going to tank.

Could always lvl thm and cnj to 20 and get cure 2 and sac 2, plus u also have protect, shell, and shoke spikes

I think the original poster means for lower levels. Second Wind at those levels is extremely helpful to have but after about level 20 it begins to not be worth using.

I agree that Second Wind is quite helpful in lower levels too.
As Maxom said, after Rank20 Second wind is not worth enough to use. Levels CON or THM and learn CureII, SacrificeII (both of their rank I version are pretty useless in mid level)
You can also level PGL to 20 and buy Prime Condition. It's give bonus to Bloodbath too.

second wind kind of sucks once you get cure and sacrifice. specially after you get cure 2 and sac 2. plus bloodbath... you should have no need for second wind. too much stamina.

Second Wind II + Prime Conditioning + Seasoned Veteran is good for 520+HP on my MRD.
But when it comes to soloing and preserving your stamina bar using sacrifice II or III is the way to go.

If this thread is meant for helping you solo I would suggest LNC to 20 for Feint, PUG to 14 for Featherfoot & Jarring Strike, and using Foresight & Fracture from MRD.

Feint without a doubt is very valuable to any DoW allowing you to do WS dmg for 500TP after you miss.
The Featherfoot and Foresight combo with their corresponding reaction WSs gives a huge edge over anything you fight.
Not only do you get to evade and parry an attack taking no damage, but you also get to counter with WS dmg for only 250TP and costing you ZERO stamina.

What I have set up for my MRD as far as solo curing is Cure II and Sac II (working on III for each) and I have a WS macro buff of Ferocity+Raging Strike+Bloodbath II+Hawk's Eye then follow up with Brutal Strike.

Slightly unrelated but I find Defender is awesome for my Conj, takes hardly any dmg.

I also find this to be true.I notice it more on my con than on my glad.I smell a cap on defense.

I use second wind when I have to, cure not so much.. only when I am in my duo party and we run into trouble, but it is a good way to gain some hate besides the usual Warmonge, disorient and storm's path when tanking.
