Does it actually do anything to make your house act as an item shop or just change the exterior aesthetic?
Can you craft this glamour in FC and then apply to your personal house?
Nice! Are there other types? My FC didn't build the workshop yet as we are trying to buy a mansion first. Currently in a medium.
I don't think it does anything. its just an expensive glamour. I made ti to find out lol.
I'm pretty sure you can take the part and apply to your personal house, but you ahve to build it in your company house obviously.
I'm trying to unlock "restaurant" style and I'll apply that to my personal house if I can. will report back if it works.
and yes, as far as I can tell, default workshop has "merchant type" what I built.
you can research plans to build "restaurant, weapon shop, and armour shop types"
the amount of materials scale for small, medium, and large plans. Large takes roughly 5 and half times more material that small.
We want to build this in our fc, but my concern is that its going to take a long time. We have a large house so its the full allotment of mats and personally I'd rather have the airships first. I noticed that this has several parts, so here are my 2 questions.
Do you have to build it all beginning to end?
Can you apply parts of the glamour separately?
Once you've built the glamour, is it consumed upon using it on your house? Can it be removed? Is it an illusion you can toggle on and off without having to go through the entire fabricating process each time?
what andriel said pretty much sums it up.
Unlike airship that is broken into 4 parts, the house glamours is one part with a poop-ton of phases. you have to finish it all.
the glamour takes up the "wall" spot, but overrides every spot. you are unable to apply different styles. its all or nothing, no mix and matching. it also completely destroys everything existing in all other slots (or makes it seem that way). Thus, I would assume i can not be removed. basically if you change it you likely lose it. I don't really want to test that theory though so I can't say for sure.
my airship hasn't brought be back red clay yet so I can't build anything to test on my personal house just yet....
if anyone else wants to spend mats to test glamours for personal housing though please post results =D
Has anyone tried applying the glamour to their personal housing? Does it work or is this just for FC houses? Would like to know if anyone's tested before I throw a whole bunch of mats into it. Thanks!
Yes, works on private housing though it'll be your residency crest only on the front door entrance and no crest on the gate entrance.

That's a lot of Eastern cherry trees! Those are expensive, how many are on your property?
