Unable to connect to data center

Ok ... so it is June 19 2015 at about 3:53 PM MST
I logged into the game and I clicked the start button
it kept saying connecting to the Data Center

Then it gave me the error message of
"The lobby server connection has encountered
an error 2002"

The server which I play on is Mateus on
the North American Servers.

It is trying to connect to the Ather Data
Center.

I was able to connect at 2:00 AM PST this morning though
and play for a while when the servers first came up and
I was able to connect then but not now. I am talking about
when Heaven's Ward first came out on June 19 2015.

I am on the PC platform as well.

It appears to be a random occurring error maybe due to
server loads?

DO a DNS flush and restart your computer. I didn't think it would work but now I'm in a queue. So that's something!

Didn't help.

Also had issues connecting to Mateus on Aether data center. Followed SicariusSeven's suggestion, it did resolve my issue.

I'm getting 2002 and 5002 when trying to connect to the AETHER Data center. When I switch to primal, it seems to let me. But then if I try to switch back, it'll give me 2002 or 5002 error codes.
I don't have the new Expansion. I'm on PC. I got the normal game Via Steam. I have the Loader Set to Direct X 11.0 My video card is a Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 ti, my Processor is a Pentium i7 3770 with 8gb ram. My OS is win 8.1

Tried the Flush with no success as well.

Tried the dns flush. Still cant get past 2002

The servers must be totally overloaded, like at the initial launch. Somehow SE seems to let more people buy the game than can actually play it due to lobby server and data center capacity issues. But it's all about the $ isn't it?

Same issue and on same Mateus server. Was able to play last night during peak hours, but unable to play all day today, been trying over last 12 hours.

Guys. I did the whole switching Data center thing just now. It worked for me. If that still doesn't work then I don't know. I wish Square would give us a response. Silence just makes a lot of us angrier.

That is just a fluke I have tried the switching data center thing and it doesn't work I still get the 2002 error
but I would agree that I wish Square Enix would post some kind of a response to this issue.

Called CS about this yesterday when it took me over an hour of re entering my password (which is stupid btw) to finally get in. They told me a 2002 is when there is a overload of people logging in at the same time and to keep trying until I get in. Patience is one thing but last night at 10:30 pm est I spent 2hrs trying and finally got in at 12:25am. This is messed up. While I could get in to the other Data Servers just fine. You would think they could have seen this coming. Hope its fixed before the actual launch day.

I have a feeling it won't be fixed by launch day. Launch day will be the same if not worse.

Well I hope Square Enix is going to be prepared to do some kind of compensation for this
I mean really everyone that ordered the early access can't play right now.

It is Sunday June 21 2015 at about 4:00 PM MDT (GMT-0700) and I am still
getting the 2002 error and I can't get into the game.

And what makes me REALLY mad is that gold spammers are taking up valuable spots
on the server I am still getting gold spammers messaging me and I am reporting
them. These scumbags are taking up spots on the server where actual players should
be.

Ok now this is really ticking me off! I was right in the
middle of a dungeon Snowcloak and the server disconnects
me and gives me the error 9002 we just downed the first
boss and we didn't even get to open the chest because
the server disconnected me.

This happened on June 21 2015 at about 5:30 PM
MDT (GMT-0700)

This is absolute garbage fix your servers
Square Enix. Now even when you are connected
the servers are really not playable.

The error message that I got was
"Connection with the server was lost 900002"

I am getting sick of this crap! Square Enix better
do some kind of compensation for this crappy service!

MDT and I am still getting the 2002 error.

So here is a throw back from September 3 2013 when
"A Realm Reborn" ("ARR") was launched...

So obviously Square Enix has learned absolutely nothing from when
they launched A realm reborn and history has repeated itself again

Ok you make the mistake once.. but you at least learn from it but
that doesn't appear to be the case with Square Enix.

You can tell just by reading though the forums that the people who purchased
early access for Heavensward is more than a little bit irate right now.
