PS4 and Heavensward Issue

Just spent 2 hours on the phone with Square-Enix and PlayStation. Which could probably be summed up as hour in a half with SE and 30 min with PlayStation but anyway. This helped me so I am passing it on to you.

If you purchased Heavensward Collectors Edition then go to Mog Station and see if it has it labeled Heavensward Early Access under your Standard Account. If it does then go to your PSN Account Management and look under your Available Services. If it says Heavensward Early Access under Final Fantasy XIV then it is a licensing issue between PSN and your PS4. Go figure right?

Uninstall the game and go to your library and reinstall it with Heavensward. Then you should be good. Just a time consuming pain in the butt. Hope this helps you too.

Well here goes having to redownload the entire game. x.o I'll post up my results when it's done. *crosses fingers*

I hope you're having more luck with it than me RueBee. I uninstalled, went to re-download only to have the PSN Store refuse to work. *sadface*

My internet is being agreeable, my redownload has about a half hour left, ill update soonish!

Redownloading fixed my issue, the game jumped into the heavensward screen rather than the ARR screen, I was able to create/phantasia into an au'ra and all that good stuff.

I was having the same issue. 60 mins to go. Hope this fixes it. Been at work all day and was looking forward to ONE thing. Almost cried when I couldn't get it working.

I am having same issue but I re downloaded and still no fix

My friend is having the same issue and he deleted the whole game and spent the whole day re-downloading it and it still will not work for him. Anyone else still having problems as well? Anything maybe he did wrong?

Happy it worked. Tho my internet it took 4hrs to update. Now it's just trying to get on to the NA Data Servers without the stupid 2002 or 5009 errors. Had to enter my password in for over an hour to finally get in. Hope it's fixed by the official launch day.
