Error 5006 possible fix

I was getting Error Code 5006 when I tried logging in, flushed my DNS and I was able to log in.

This, unfortunately, did not work for me.

just had to use it again because of the 5006 error and it worked again :)

If only this helped with 2002...

Try restarting your PC. Worked for me.

Just tried that for the 5006 error...it's not working. It just goes back to the 2002 error.

I had 5006 and i can confirm that this DOES work. Only thing, update your post. I tried clearing the cauche while the launcher was open, then opened the game and it didnt work. you have to completely close FF even the launcher. ty for the tip

Got this to work on the 5th try! :D

What I did differently this time was log onto my alt on a different Data Center. This is what I normally do when I get 90k error and can't log in right away. By logging onto a different Data Center, it will force log off my other character on the other Data Center.

..... man I am glad I found this just had to do it for the 3rd time they need to fix what ever is doing this

having to do this every time I start the game is not fun

I am on PS4, and this does not work for me. I have been getting 5006 error since yesterday, stuck at trying to log in for hours. its really annoying when you pay so much to play something and get denied, over and over.
