PS4 troubles

I bought it from the PSN network and downloaded it on yesterday. I even have the heavensward logo but when I go in the game. It is saying that it is not installed. I'm trying to download it again. I have the 1.729 GB. Any help would be appreciated.

Im on the same boat. I have it installed, even logged in but still have it as ARR. I look at my account on Mog Station it says:

FFXIV: Heavensward - Early Access PlayStation(R)4

yet underneath on the fields that checks what systems the account is registered on, all of HW is blank.

No I didn't. I downloaded all of that yesterday. I got the larger file when I tried to login to the game. It even showed everything. Kaoz what are you doing?

Yeah I did the full download and got the HW confirmation screen on ps4 saying it was supposed to be added. What am I doing? I logged off and trying to see wtf tbh.

I tried logging off and restarting. I'm about to lose it SE. I can get in but cant play what I paid for

The icon on the games page has change to heavensward. I had to download a 5.8 gb update and can play now.

Where did you find that update?

I started the game, entered name and pass, then it showed heavensward PS4 click to register. It showed my name and a list of all these vet rewards, clicked Next and it went back the the main ffxiv page and the download started.

My icon does show heavensward not ARR. It did on yesterday

Having the same issues. I meet all requirements.

For me it says the quest is not available and under that it says "Heavensward installed and registered".

Try going to downloads ain notifications and click on the heavensward download and see what it does. Or go To settings Playstationnetwork/account settings account info and services and see if you see the beta in there maybe?

I did that yesterday.

unless you installed the 1.7 download(most didnt because we were still locked behind the timer), then you are missing another 2 gigs to download.

You will have to go to the fixivHW tab D-pad down then d-pad right and then look for your add-on then DL the add on.

That's what i'm doing now. I pray this works. Yea that was suppose to download at midnight but it got an error and I had to download it from the add ons

THATS THE KEY

On the PS4 cross menu bar (where you launch games), scroll to the ffxiv game picture like you are going to launch the game. Instead of pushing x, push down on the d pad, then push right on the d pad. This will bring you to a bunch of pictures and stuff about the game. scroll down past trophies, friends, and recent activities. as you go past recent activities you will hit view all, scroll down on d pad on more time. Now you're in add on section.

Under add ons, it should say "my add-ons" and there should be heavenward. push x, it will take you to another page with a little download arrow next to FFXIV HW. Push x on it and after about 5 seconds you will see "FFXIV HW added to downloads" thats the 1.7gb patch everyone is missing and the reason your launcher doesn't look right and the reason you can't start the HW quests in game.

I think I found the fix but I can't say for sure right now.
Went to PS menu/dashboard > FF ARR > "Related Items" > My addons > and downloaded a 1.7gb addon that was missing.


P.S. Remember to close your game so the download isn't slow (was downloading at less than 1 mb/s till I closed it, now I'm at 5.5 mb/s :D).

Well, I see my issue here, my HW add on says that it will unlock in 3 days, 17 hours, 51 minutes..........

I'm so happy we figured it out! I was honestly expecting to have to wait another 3 hours to get to the online chat with sony and argue with them without a solution.

We've seen a few reports from PlayStation users who are unable to accept the initial quest in Coerthas even though they've registered the code and patched the game. However, it seems the cause is due to the fact that the Heavensward software was not downloaded from PlayStation Network. This is a step that cannot be skipped and is likely what is causing the issue.

If you're finding yourself unable to accept the first quest in Heavensward though you've registered your code and see early access on Mog Station, please ensure you've downloaded the Heavensward installer file from PSN.

PlayStation®4 users
Navigate to your Library and find FINAL FANTASY XIV, select it and go to "Related Items" - the Heavensward software will be there for you to download.

PlayStation®3 users
Navigate to PlayStation Network on the XMB, select Account Management and then Transaction Management. Select Download List and you should see the Heavensward software listed and you can download it if you not yet done so.

Thats not doing anything for me on PS4. Mog Station still says HW is not registered even after my account states HW EA after I actually did, downloaded, installed, and yet on my add-ons page for hw states that it will unlock in 3 days 17 hours.

By Heavensward do you mean the "O" showing up? That's not showing for anyone yet, because the full game codes aren't being accepted yet. Can you tell me what store, and what version you're referring to/having this problem with? You purchased Heavensward itself or the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online package?

From the psn store I also have the same problem on my ps3 the mog station say it I dont have it registered

You'll have to wait until june 23rd then.

That makes no sense since HW registers for EA on mogstation and grants you the files on the ps4. Not saying you are wrong but if thats the case thats a serious mistake on SE.

Ty so much. I got the collectors edition and just downloaded the patch inside the game, didnt realized There was another file in PS4 (normally the download start all by itself

I am having the same quest accept/heavensward not installed or registered issue but on PC. Mog Station shows Heavensward CE is registered but I only got one patch of 4.3GB and no install for HW. Have tried relogging and changing game version to re-patch but nothing has worked. Now all my friends are unlocking and I can't do anything :(

They announced that the bundles won't have early access about two or three months ago.

I did all what was said to download the software and it says that I have early access in the mog station but it still shows heavensward unmarked without a O

I downloaded game twice on ps3 it work

Mines wasnt working either on ps4, then I closed it back out and re-entered and got to a license agreement, clicked it now "First time expansion set up" is running.

I'm also having a problem for the PS4 version of the game that's seperate from this. My issue is it won't even let me download the patch. Every time I try, it kicks me off and gives me an error code [20512] [20496]
