error 1014

Getting error 1014 when loading world

Same here, for Balmung, Viviienne Sokah.

Same here. "World data could not be obtained. Please try logging in later."

Pretty sure we all crashed the servers. <.<;;;

Yep. I actually made it online, tele'd to LL, and immediately "LOST CONNECTION WITH SERVER". Yay. Same error now again.

Balmung player here. First I can't find my character in the Lodestone or Mog Station now I'm getting error 1014 when I try to log in the game.

Me and 4 of my FC mates are all having the same issue. Excalibur.

Also, what's really funny is that I can change my data center and create a new character on Kujata with no issues at all.

It "Has" to be Balmung.

Yep. Balmung. 1014, 1009, 1016 all 'World data could not be obtained' XD. We broke it. *tries to turn Lala into an Au Ra through willpower alone*

And yeah. My stuff is still gone from mogstation etc as well.

I got this error earlier while trying to log onto my character on Leviathan. Now I'm just waiting in queue.

So glad I woke up for this crap. >_<;;

Logged in on Hyperion, started cutscene with Alph, disconnected in the middle of CS. Now getting error 1014.

I wish I was in a queue. XD My characters names show but don't load physically on character select and any selection of them gives the world info cannot be obtained error. Sometimes they make me wish I had not rolled on legacy servers.

Another Balmung player. My friend bought it for me.. can't even play ;w;. Let that T'ahla kitty in please ;~;

balmung 1014 world data could not be obtained :(

I am getting the same error on Behemoth. For a long time my character wasn't showing up as another poster mentioned. Now she is but I'm still getting the error. Perhaps this is what I get for logging out in Coerthas.

Hyperion having same error "world data could not be obtained" 1014

Same error on Behemoth. Logged out in Limsa inn. I can at least see my toon in the log-in screen now...

SE please call SE Montreal and have them plug Balmung back in.

yeah Kizzyr, same for me. Behemoth, couldn't see character on login screen. Now he shows up, but instant 1014 still. Hey,
it is a launch, never seen a smooth one...

Same, Balmung here. Error 1014 and 3070. "World data could not be obtained." Players are probably hammering the servers, which are probably glitchy from the massive patch as is, and brought em down.

I logged on my front door and it doesn't help so don't worry XD. On a...goodish note? I was able to do my name change and get a flash of loading screen before the 1014 error a few second ago. Baby steps.

Happening on Hyperion as well.

What exactly were they supposed to "learn"? Expansion launches are never without issues like this; even companies that have been doing it for years run into some really big problems (see: Blizzard and the Warlords of Draenor launch debacle). I'm as frustrated as anyone, but screaming and exclamation point abuse accomplishes nothing except making you look like a twelve-year-old who shouldn't be up this late anyway.

This wouldn't happen if people didn't sledgehammer the servers. Dun care if "THey are supposed to handle that!"

Its still sledgehammering the servers. Its like walkinginto someone's house and taking a sledgehammer to it as you move through it.


Still, bring Balmung back up please?

I am on Excalibur and was able to log in for 1-2 mins now also seeing this error msg.

Am I the only behemoth person getting this? All these balmungs making me feel lonely.
On the plus side I can now see my character before getting 1014. Couldn't even see him before

Did you try turning it off and back on again?

Nuuup I and a couple others have posted from Behemoth. Same experience as you.
