was really hoping after 2 problematic launches they would have gotten stuff together by now. Hopefully this doesn't turn into half a day of trying to just log in.

think my character got in but i didn't, hide the lalafels people he's gonna eat them all,

my character isn't even showing up on character selection, i get the name but he's buggered off,

....and queue is is such a ... funkiller

And? There's a lot of things you can know are going to happen, but have a very hard time preventing. We punched the servers in the face, and all the warning in the world isn't going to change the fact we've got a lot of fists to do that with.

Even worse: I actually managed to get in for a moment. And a I summoned a mount and rode off to do the lv 50 DRG quest, it just booted me out to the main screen. Now back to the endless 1014 errors. Bravo SE for another failed opening of the servers.

If you weren't expecting this I'm really not sure what to say, this isn't even close to problematic yet.

yea they can't help that... server load yes but people loggin in at the same time at a large volume p- i don't think u can do much but wait til they eventually get in and then the servers should be able to handle the stress of the population given the channels.

This is an MMO with a boasted 4 million subscription player base. If even a quarter of us are trying to simultaneously log on, it's going to cause traffic issues.

I am patient, though.

hmmm i can see my Mana data center character and log in easy, but on Aether datacentre i can't see my characters and keep getting 1014 and the eorzean map on loading screen

They could send out extra codes next times to give access in waves
Wave 1 code: " You are allowed to login with wave 1 or later"
Wave 2 code: " You are allowed to login with wave 2 or later"
Wave 3 code: " You are allowed to login with wave 3 or later"

Which ea player get which wave code decide the RNG
