Temple Leves ~ am I the only one hype?

10 allowances to take part in a leve that is "large scale" and "much more difficult" with "greater rewards"?

This kind of sounds like everything i hoped The Hunt would be (similar to FFXII)

I dont remember this feature getting any kind of mention in talks of Heavensward, but i've been saying the levequests for DoW were a massively wasted avenue for providing fun side content ever since the Hunt got released.

Leves are open world, have some scripted elements, yet block non-participating players from joining, allowing them to make better fights. Instead of our current S-ranks, which just have massive HP pools and get zerged down within seconds of spawning. Also instead of current FATEs, which have pretty annoying enemy scaling and level sync when too many people are participating.

I think leves should provide a sweetspot for interesting open-world battles.

I missed this Temple Leve thing...i got into the Live Letter a little late.

I"m curious, since they seem to have them for all DOM/W, DOL and DOH so I"m curious to see what DOL/DOH is all about. Makes me glad I only stockpiled the mats for older leve items since I may just invest my leve charges into the temple leves if they do have good rewards.

Definitely not. Temple Leves sound pretty awesome, especially if we can complete them with a group!

My hype thrusters are set to maximum. Temple Leves sound like they'll be the tits.

I'm excited to see if there are any boss-type Temple Leves, I love those things =P

Agreed and If it's similar to FF12 then I will be very happy as well.

I am excited as well because this would be interesting group content for people to level.

They did show Group Leves back in the original FF14 1.0 Trailer with how the Midlander was choosing Leve cards for his group but never really introduced that function until now.

I always thought the original levequest system was under utilized (spoken as someone who mostly leveled their 1-50 off them) and I was hoping hunts would be an offshoot of that system (boy was I disappointed) I hope these temple leves are a step in the right direction. At the very least they sound like a step in the right direction.

my sentiments exactly, i hate how much wasted potential the leves had, especially in leveling alternate DPS classes. I was sooooo hype for Hunts, since i thought they would be like the Clan marks from XII, except instead they were just your typical MMO baddie with good drops to spawn camp.

Maybe? Maybe not? I would like to experience/see more info about them before deciding. Will they be group things or will they be bigger/longer solo leves that can be shared etc.? I really don't mind leves though so I should be happy either way.

If other members of your party have the same non-GC leve you can trigger and complete them together. So the Grouping to leve was still possible... it just didn't give much benefit most of the time.

Well you could linkshare and do leves at ridiculous high + lvl adjustments tho. :P
Plus I remember being harder to begin with back then. (dem cactuars etc)
