Eager to see how much time I've spent in Eorzea since beta 2.0, but also a little scared. I'll post back with the damages when we're up and running!

The "filty casual" as i am i doubt i'll be close to most peoples playtime but i'm still gonna post it here lol

I'm planning on shouting in chat to get everyone to shout their /playtime.
That way, we can see we're not alone. Or we can see the people who might need to get another hobby.

My only solace is that my /playtime will be slightly skewed by dozens of hours worth of AFK.

It would be kind of amazing/horrifying if /playtime also showed 1.0 time.

Kinda curious to see how it lines up with my Raptr playtime for the game. Currently 1,951 hours logged and I've had Raptr since before I started the game, so nothing missed.

yeah....not sure I wanna know lol. Do we know if it'll link to other characters or is it character specific?

I'm both very intrigued to see my playtime and at the same time dreading it :p I'll edit this post with my playtime when I find out what it is!

Edit: 141 days 5 hours and 32 minutes out of 690 days subbed.

now is it from 2.0 to 3.0 or 1.0 to 3.0? If 1.0 is on there i will not wanna see it haha

Same here since I started to play since open beta of 1.0 even played beta of arr and open beta and so on >_>

But I bet it should be from ARR until now for sure.

Finally I can see how many hours of my life I have wasted! :3

This was such an amusing/sad thing in FF11! Knowing I had literal years of my life spent on one video game was both awesome and sad at the same time. I can't wait to do it again!

Steam has me logged at 2.6k hrs, wonder how that will tie up.

I also want to know... it'd be more interesting if each character is separate and since most of my RP alts only get a couple minutes a day for cactpots as a guarantee then that would be interesting to see it add up xD

Been able to check this through steam. I got the game late Feb..... I have averaged over 8 hours a day since.. In the meantime I still work full-time....go to uni.....got married...spent 3 weeks in Africa, 2 in Fiji....this game is the devil. A beautiful sexy devil.

Total play time: 2 hours.

I would have loved to have had this at the start, but by this point there's so much AFK time mixed in there that the information won't be useful. Maybe it will show time spent AFK as well.

I'm curious to know mine but I don't want my wife to find out....

I kinda find it sad that some people are acting like it's a bad thing if you put a lot of hours into it. Unless it's really getting in the way of your job or education, video games should never be something to feel ashamed of IMO. Honestly, I find a lot of games that focus on story, unique art, or gameplay to be works of art. I'm not afraid to admit it. *shrug*

When I quit FFXI my playtime was 372 days.....

I loved that game.

I expect to see some insane number for mine, assuming Closed Beta counts towards playtime, averaging about 2-5 hours daily, more on weekends, minus about a 3 months break I took....I expect it to cripple my monster hunter numbers and I thought 300+ hours was insane.

This command scares me, I must never use it.

Raptor says "Get 9472 more hours to be the #1 player on Raptr!" for FFXIV. That is pretty sick......

I am one of the rare ones that aren't mortified beyond the ability to remain in the living realm by seeing a large number next to things that I do.

I'm wondering what made them decide to add this.
I also wonder what kind of information it will show... Your account time? Your single character time?
And how accurate it will be... X Hours? Or just in days (like Veteran Reward Levels)?

See, I had played excessively in 1.0 as well, yet I'm less than half your time. 295 days.
It feels like it should be higher, as in I'm missing all my 1.0 time or something.

Or perhaps I didn't play as much as I thought I did! Maybe it's a blessing in disguise?
But as far as I can see, there's no official report on it including 1.0 time, is there? Though considering some people have more days played than there have been days that 2.0 has been active, I suppose it must.

Total play time: 438 days, 18 hours, 24 minutes as of this morning right after i woke up :p

Didn't know you could do this. This is pretty cool, anyways my /ptime is 83 days, 18 hours, and 12 minutes out of 360 days subscribed.
