Not sure if this has been posted or how many times it's been posted, but I remember a while ago the devs said that they'd allow the TP bar to be shown. I main as BRD.. I sometimes get fussed at for not playing Army's Paeon (believe it or not..) and I'm all.. "Dude.. you have to let me know. I can't see your TP bar to know when you're low on TP." Sooo.. is there a way to see it already and I missed that post/discussion/announcement?
If not could you guys pleeeeeease show the TP bar so us bards (and ninjas [goad]) can use our job abilities to it's fullest? It would really be greatly appreciated. :)

What I don't get is why the MP bar doesn't just get replaced with the TP bar on the party list for non-magic classes. Aside from maybe protect, stoneskin, and flash, I don't see much use for the MP bar being displayed, and even then watching the MP of a Paladin isn't as useful as TP.......

I do look forward to this, but I still feel like it won't help me get more Goads in DF dungeon runs. I will go on entire runs as a monk and have the ninja ignore goad entirely, or use it on the tank. Or in some occasions, the healer.
Well, maybe it'll help. Hopefully. Bards are usually good about Paeon though. -

I have a better idea. How about we drop the TP system entirely and just add a sprint bar? I feel like the 2.5 gcd and the combo system is enough to prevent ability spam, the TP bar to me feels more like an unnecessary thing the more I play the game.

I really wish they'd do this. Just the other day in T10 I had a NIN Goad me (I was just fine on TP) while the WAR was the one who really needed it.
I mean, I'm grateful that they were aware of the fact that DRGs can run low on TP in that fight, but I can manage just fine with Invigorate, which was why I didn't ask for Goad. If TP bars were visible they would've been able to realize that my WAR friend was the one who actually was almost out of TP. -

Problem seems to be not class priority but individual play style. In a PUG situation NINs are forced to guess based on class. I play my TP classes with the assumption that I'm pretty much on my own as far as TP. Some people play as if they are entitled to a Goad or Paeon and get whiny when they run themselves out of TP.
Idk why they're intending to make it an either/or option for TP or MP though. If we want to see both, let us see both.
The major issue with this game in my opinion still seems to be interface. In the shadow of WoWs addon system we still look like we're in the Stone Age and simple UI options like this should be a no brainer. -

For DF dungeon roulettes, DPS really won't need goad all that much. When I'm on brd and spam aoe, invigorate can restore sufficient tp to last the whole pack of mobs. Then we disengage and the time in between pulls is enough to get tp back to full.
Its those longer fights that are more annoying and tp bar would really help -
