I can't tank what so ever. I've had so many bad experiences when tanking that now i just hate it overall, but when it comes to Healing and Dpsing I never felt more at home.

I don't think I have an exceptionally weak role, except for in specific content. Namely, in Wolves Den and Secure Frontlines I have a real hard time playing a healer. I'm always impressed to see a good PvP healer. I'm not sure how they manage when focus targeted by the other team, I always fall apart.
SCH, due to just doing the quests since I had SMN. No practice at all.
Healers. Can't play them and don't like playing them. Also I'm not playing 2 jobs for the price of one. healers should heal, dps should dps. I'm decent at tanking. Speed running kinda wracks my nerves as targeting is horrible on PS4 with a lot of mobs. I tend to prefer DPS roles tho. I love the melee and the physical ranged jobs. Caster DPS is kinda boring to me.
I can't stand Healing. Its not my Type of playing^^°
Can tank,can't heal .....
While probably not what you were looking for, for me, it's fishing. Absolute worst, boring, without benefit.
<.< >.>
DpS
Tanking, or more specifically, tanking in a duty. I have difficulty keeping aggro on pulls bigger than 3-4 mobs, without burning all of my tp and/or mp. Have no issues with tanking bosses though.
Might try getting better at it with 3.0, if I like Drk enough. If not i'll stick to dps/healing since I find those to be more along my playstyle.
healing and magic its just not my style.
DPS.
I main a tank.
I PvP as a healer enough that I've been able to tackle t13 down as SCH now.
I just can't deal damage with such upkeep to have any sort of respectable numbers. :(
DPS
I always heal or tank. Maybe if they ever implement a parser so I can actually gauge how well I'm doing....
I'm a horrific Warrior, lol. I can play Paladin fine, but those Wrath stacks really eff me up. And I always forget which combo I'm supposed to do when I OT. XD
After that I'm a pretty meh DPS. I don't really think like a DPS since I main healer. My mentality is always survivability > damage, since that was what it was like in the MMO I came from before FFXIV. I will admit that I am a better ranged DPS than a Melee, though. Which is funny considering I've usually played melee DPS.
And SCH is also one of my weaker classes since its toolkit is very different than WHM. It throws me off a lot. I need them Regens and that Holy spam.
So basically I'm only good at WHM and maybe Paladin. :P
At the moment, Tanking (main as a BLM, moonlight as a WHM). I'm not sure how good I am, it's just, when I DF and have to deal with that one dps or one healer that wants to faceroll into a mob and run back to me and start attacking/healing before I even get a chance to gain hate on ANY one of them (then, act as if I should be thankful that he nearly got himself and the pty killed), it makes me realize how much I hate the class.
On the plus, I have far, FAR more respect for those that tank and put up with that mess. Tanking is a thankless job. ><;
Tanking for me. I have a .5 second lag due to the fact that I have to use satellite internet, (the only internet I can get where I live), which makes it difficult for me to grab the aggro from enemies that are chasing around healers or DPS who steal it. That and the only practice I have with tanking is guildhests when leveling my MRD to 15 so I could get my Dragoon......
Order for me:
Healing
Tanking
DPSing
I totally suck at DPSing, I find myself paying too much attention to other people's HP. At least as a tank this helps me know if I'm slacking and need to pick something up :P
I think I am worst as a dragoon.
Tanking and SCH (yet im at home WHMing.... o.O). It a little funny - I do okay solo or in fates on WAR/MRD where I'm unofficially the fate-train's tank, but as soon as I'm in a dungeon I flounder a bit...
As for SCH.... I'm not used to having a tiny healer with me so I end up overlapping with the faerie (and have a hard time giving up control to let it heal while I dps a little...)
That really should be everyone's mentality, regardless of role. Before I got to FF ARR, myself, I played dps classes in other mmos. Mostly played mages. Mages were well known back then to be the "glass cannon" of classes, so if you ripped hate off of a tank, or pulled a mob without the tank/CC/any "holy crud, that's an op spell" skill, you had no one but yourself to blame, because you weren't playing your role/class well. You really couldn't get away with blaming anyone else.
Now, it's all...
*tank pulls one mob of 3*
Dps: Tank, you sux. You're too slow. *begins pulling 5+ mobs*
*tank freaks and tries to gain aggro*
*healer quickly tries to heal and gains aggro doing so, getting killed*
*everyone else slowly dies*
Dps who pulled: You can't hold 7+mobs??? Lol *afk kicks the tank*
=.=
I suck at WHM. im good with SCH though.
Mnk is annoying with loosing GL, so i don't play it nowdays, maybe in HW though.
otherwise i can do well as any role.
Oh I'm sure I'm equally terrible with all of them.
I can't tank or heal. To nerve wrecking to play as those. But, I feel right at home DPSing. Be on my main monk, ninja or spell slinging on my black mage or summoner. Oddly I tend to off heal more when I'm playing summoner or resurrection the party....sometimes even the healers. lol
To an extent, yes. But I know DPS who will eat AoEs on purpose and use their self-heals or pop Foresight. So even though they take a little bit of damage, with my Medica II running it's not even worth worrying about and they still get their positional off.
I see an AoE or know where it comes from and I'm like "+NOPE. I'MA DO ALL MY POSITIONALS ON CERB'S SIDE BECAUSE I'M SCARED. QwQ"
So it is kind of one of my flaws, lol.
Fair enough, though when I dps, I try not to make it worse on the heals and dodge. lol Dead dps = no dps. I'd rather lose a little dodging instead of risking a death that the heals have to worry about on top of healing tanks and dodging aoes, themselves. Being on the safe side is a good quality, is what I'm saying, not a flaw. :P
Caster DPS is my bane. After awhile I start to zone out on BLM, I haven't done SMN at high level yet so not sure there. Although even BRD seems to keep me more interested; since I'm keeping situation awareness for MP/TP on songs or even just placing flaming arrow is something different from rotation spam.
I don't like to heal. I have bad experiences with it in other games where it was unfun for me. I know it's much different here, but I still don't like it after trying it. I'm not really a fan of doing a role where the focus is to sustain the party, because I prefer the option of personally excelling. I like the idea of my own accomplishments bringing things over the top, and healing generally relies on making sure everyone else does that. Unless you, y'know, spam holy on trash hnnngh
It's also why I like crafting. It's a simple, personal thing to strive to be the best at.
I can do it all, but really don't care for FFXIV tanks :/ Sure I can do it just fine, I just don't like them. Well at least the current ones. I do want to test out drk ;)
And before anyone responds (...but you don't have tanks past such and such level, I play *8* characters and 2 of them are main tanks. One War main, 1 PLD main)
White Mage, Bard, Dragoon, Monk, Ninja, and Black Mage. I have them to 50, but don't play them. Best roles, in order of bestest to best, Paladin, Warrior, Scholar, Summoner, the only 4 jobs I play regularly. Adding Dark Knight to the list in less than a week.
This. I can keep up Greased Lightning stacks and Dragoon buffs/debuffs without too much struggle, but put me behind a BLM or SMN and I just fail miserably. I inevitably press the wrong button, screw up the BLM rotation, manage the pet poorly, etc. etc. I am the worst caster ever.
Ironically, I am a really good WHM and a pretty decent SCH. XD
I'm turrible at tanking and healing. And while I'm not awful with Bard and Ninja, I just have no fondness for either of the jobs.
(I think the reason I dislike Bard is because I've mained a Hunter in WoW for 7 years.)
I'm not very good with DPS, myself. With healing and tanking, you have clear, obvious goals: Don't let people die. If everyone lives, and if you aren't struggling to make that happen, then you're doing well. DPS is another story - you can *always* squeeze another few points out of your rotation, and, to do your best, you need hard math and razor concentration. You're always racing, always rushing, always striving for perfect, unbroken efficiency.
Frankly, it's worlds more stressful to me to juggle numbers and formulas than it is to juggle health or aggro bars, and stress breeds ineffectiveness. XD
I used t9 be terribad at tanking. Until they announced Dark Knight then i went full on tank status and practiced until I'm better than almost any tank I know.
My healer skills could be improved though..
I can do all three. -shrugs-
Tanking and melee DPS for me, I have been a healer and a caster for almost 10 years, so I am used to standing in the back and planning ahead what I am going to do. I am not used to standing infront of the monsters and fighting them.
Not my weakest per SE as all roles are easy in this game, but I find that healer gives the most anxiety in the game. After being yelled at / blamed / berated from a static in 2.0/2.1, I gave up healing in favor of tanking.
Now, I still can heal, but it's not what I actively seek, only offered as necessary to others.
My worst is Healer. I was never able to get a win as Healer in pre-nerfs Pharos, which is what I consider a Healer's metric. I have met some great Healers there as Bard, too. Healers I'd never expect to be able to clear it, like Scholars! Me, as White Mage, schooled by a Scholar. Credit, though, Pharos before the nerfs wasn't a fight between a party and the dungeon, it was rather literally the dungeon versus the Healer with Siren hammering the message home. The first boss of Sastasha, pre-nerf, was almost as bad but I was able to manage. Shame that difficulty didn't carry through the rest of the dungeon like Pharos.
Healing on fights that are AoE heavy, I get overwhelmed too easily.
Nothing I play all roles perfectly~
*has been healing in cleric stance for most of the dungeon and been sincerely wondering why every spell has been so infective*
