Need some advice from the pros for maximizing MNK DPS. Please assist.

I need some help with my DPS on MNK.
Currently my DRG parses 615-620 (No party buff, no food, no potions, no mercy stroke.)
My MNK, however, WITH party buff, no food, no potions, no mercy stroke barely hits 603.
These are 3minute parses.

As far as I've been aware, MNK is supposed to have the highest DPS ceiling and skill cap.
I assume I'm doing something wrong as both classes are fully geared ilvl 130, BIS based on Aryiala's.

This has been an ongoing question for about a month. I've read a lot online and asked a few players in-game and keep coming up with different answers, none of which seem to truly lend any help.

Here is what I am running with:
448 Crit
395 Det
385 Skill Speed

My current PB opener (though I'm not using the potions during these parses):
(PB)> Demo(PPP)> Snap(B4B)> Snap> DK> Twin(Xpot)> Boot(IR)> ToD(Steel)> True(Howl)> Demo

I clip ToD at 1-2s, Demo at <=4s.
I reapply DK and Twin every second combo and maintain as close to 100% uptime on my buffs and debuffs as is possible.

I feel as though I must be doing something wrong. Whether it be my opener, or when I use my oGCDs (IR/B4B). For instance: after initial use during my opener on my DRG I wait one extra combo to use the next Life Surge so B4B is up instead of popping it immediately. I can't seem to find similar situations on MNK, I just try to pop them when I know I'll be applying Demo and ToD during their uptime.

Just kind of at a loss for what to do and any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

3 minute parses are inaccurate IMO, 4 minutes (or until dry) is much better and would be a better representation of DRG vs MNK.

These are done on striking dummies.

I am a noob M.j, so you probably already considered it, but would fracture add to your dps?

Only very slightly; it has a large TP Cost, which is why I do not use it.

Are you using target lock on, so that every single auto-attack hits?

It takes a long time for MNK to reach their dps cap. DRG on the other hand bursts high and then starts coming down. Of course DRG will score higher in 3 minutes.

1. Hit your positionals.
2. Don't not hit your positionals.
3. Push your cooldowns when they're up.
4. Don't run out of TP.
5. Don't die.

I pretty much agree with what's being said. DRG is a little more burst and 3 minutes isnt quite long enough for an accurate parse to compare them. Other than that, I would say just make sure your straffing or locked on to hit all auto attacks.

If you use Spine shatter and dragon dive just before you end the parse, drg will get a boost to the dps. 4min+ is minimum, preferably get a ninja to goad you and go for 6+ min.

Also target lock-on and I personally use Fracture only once and that's after the PB opener you listed (although I do it after the PB drops: Boot True Demo ToD Fracture.)

You have time for approximately 6 moves before you have to get DK and True up again, so that means during nor Al rotation you can add either ToD or Fracture between the reapplication of DK and True, but since right after PB rotation you go from DK -> True instantly to Boot -> Twin -> demo which means you just skipped one demo or snap. So you can add that Fracture without dropping DK or Twin .

Also you should consider changing the True into Twin in the PB opener. So it'd be Demo > Snap > Snap > DK > Twin > boot > true > demo > Fracture > ToD. That way you get IR and B4B effect on all the dots too
