Which kinda worries me.

Are they going to give us some other options gaining some of the gear, its already hard to get a S.Tower party for sands and once expansion is released tower of darkness wont have anyone also, other dungeons will suffer, how will we be able to gear up and catch up with this small amount of time?

You only need i90 gear to pass Steps of Faith and progress onto Heavensward main scenario. Higher gear level makes things easier but nobody is asking you to get raid gear before you continue the story. Expansion has it's own new items, no need to dwell on the past, collect some leveling gear from lv51-60 dungeons or something.

my exam end on the 12th this month, excelent. LOT of free time for HW

I wish I could figure out what I'm doing wrong that I can't get my Vita to use remote play over wifi. While I don't plan on playing from work, I would like to use it to get a head start on downloading the update before I get off work.

Yes. SE has already confirmed that main story will have double xp and dungeons will drop higher lvl gear and so on. they will have basically modified much of 2.0 to facilitate a quicker job leveling while also adding incentives to revisit 2.0 content frequently.

wouldnt want to see, come log in day, the myriad of dc's or servers are down or other issues
then come here and find a "sorry for the inconvenience where working on resolving the issue asap, thanks for your patience" thread

going off current subs and the amount of preorders SE should know whats gonna happen, anticipate the amount of traffic and prepare accordingly imo
