Mount ponderings

If you could only use one mount out of the mounts that you own which would it be?

And the reverse which of your mounts do you never want to ride again?

My choice would be:

Turtle - Forever
Behemoth - Boot

I don't have any specific ones that I'd boot, but I do end up using my company choco more often than the others. Either that or one of the two seater ones.

Legacy chocobo, only one I use now anyway.

Wish they would let you make it your companion chocobo.

I predominately use my couerl mount anyway.

I rarely use my Behemoth and Ahriman mounts.

I wish that I owned the Fenrir mount...

I go back and fourth between most of my mounts (been riding kirin alot since I got it) but If I could only choose one then it'd be the 'Laurel Goobbue'. Its just so f..king cute. If I had to boot one it'd definitely be the black and the gold (achievement one) magitek mounts. They feel so clunky and I don't particular like how they look.

I'd choose Sleipnir as my main mount and probably boot the fat chocobo as that's the one I use the least.

I hate the Ahriman mount with a passion! Too much hover.

I hate Ahriman too.

If i had to keep only one, i'd probably stick with my Kalameet :D ( my black chocobo )

I would keep my legacy boco, and I would lose the Behemoth mount (its far too large and I feel like I take up a zone)

I currently only use my Bomb Palanquin, and that's how it'll stay until HW. And even then, they're planning on patching it in to use as a flying mount once they create the animations, (along with a few others such as the Ahriman), so before long it'll be my main mount once again. As for one I'd never use again? I only have five to choose from, because since getting my Palanquin I haven't bothered trying to get any others. Out of those five, either the Ahriman or the Unicorn though. I just don't care that much for their designs......

Magitek armor forever. I waited nearly 20 years to be able to do something like that again outside of VI.

dont care what mounts they add in the future as long as there isnt more *insert bad words here* ponies lol thats the reason i havent even bothered with EX primals not a horse fan :P got kicked in the head by 1 when i was 4 years old havent liked them since :P and yesh i have a partial horse shoe shaped scar on my head lol

I would keep my Company Chocobo, no contest. The other mounts are interesting, but Chocobos are timeless.

I could do without the Behemoth. I love them as monsters, but I feel it takes away from their legendary status when we can domesticate them as if they were Shoopufs.

Fat chocobo forever. They're the cutest thing in the world, despite being a questionable case of animal abuse. Not that they seem to mind.

The ponies... just don't fit, they look like they were modded into the game or taken from something else. I just farmed them for Kirin (and gave up).

While I do rotate mounts, I never ride my ahriman so that's first off the list.

I don't really care for the Unicorn (And wouldn't really care for the other horses like the elemental ones if not for the Primal boss fight music) due to the robes my character wears looking weird while sitting on the horse.

Forever: Bomb chair (or the primal mounts...if I had the Shiva or Leviathan one, it'd be one of those)
Boot: Behemoth. Too big and takes up too much of the screen.

I don't have it yet, but Markab. Especially now that there's Ramuh's theme.

I'd probably boot the gold magitech.

I would only keep Titan's pony because BOW DOWN UNDER THE WEIGHT !!!!!!!!!! TITAN !!!!!!!!

and also all dragoons keep falling when I cross them.


I would boot the arhiman mount, the wings are so annoying.

I mostly use Nightmare or Boreas.. Less used is Behemoth.

Yay! I thought I was the only one who thought that the Cavalry Drake was adorable. I second this, of course.

As for which I'd avoid, I'd stay clear of goobues, but if it's down to what I actually have, then Magitek Armor. As neat as it looks, I'm just not a fan of large mounts.

I just got my Company Chocobo to rank 20 today. I wouldn't even complain about doing it all over from 1 if it means having my Legacy Chocobo at my side.

My favorite would be Sleipnr. That's just one bad ass looking horse. Great design without too much flash.

I personally wouldn't get rid of any mounts since I like collecting them, but my least favorite would be the unicorn for being too feminine for a mount. My guy is a dude-bro and wouldn't be caught riding that dainty thing. Even my wife thought it was too girly.

Heh. Seems like lots of people don't like the behemoth either.

I would keep my Fenrir mount, and I would probably boot that Wolf from Ixali quests.
