With how much value the workshop is seemingly going to be, it would only be fair if all houses get access to it, not just the ones where multiple people in a FC can pool money together to buy one house.

Isn't the workshop for making airship parts?? What value does it bring? Can we sell airship parts to other people?
Besides, most people with personal homes already have an FC house I don't see how that would open up access.. I thought there would be personal airship so I got my personal home ready last week :D
Hmmm unique furniture you say.. that does sound intriguing..
I thought there would be personal airships though? or is that just a rumor?
I was gonna make both actually.. but if FC airship is the only one available, I can deal with that I suppose.
Apparently there are unique crafting materials as well, no idea if those are flying ship related materials only tho.
Workshop - yes
Housing glamours made in workshop - yes
Airships - no
What is house glamours anyway? I mean, you can change the looks of the house without glamours. And different wallpapers and roofs do not have different stats, so I don't really see the point.
I really hope private airships come to domestic housing. Otherwise there's a part of the game gated behind being a(n) FC member with control of airships.
Gathering had always been the main attraction in FFXIV for me and if it turns out that I can't gather materials from areas only accessible to FC airships I will kick off. Not all FC members will be given the required access level to use the airships unless they do something special with it.
I believe they've stated numerous times you'll get a personal airship in a future update but currently airships will be Free Company Air Ships.
It's good to hear the rich are getting even richer.
Yes, the personal airship will be acquired through the main scenario, and not tied to crafting in any way. FC Workshops, and by effect, Airships, WILL be tied to crafting and require being in an FC. Unfortunate, yes, but in a game where you can already largely do as much as possible or engage in non-combative endgame content almost as much as you like, they perhaps wanted to bring a little validity back to being in an FC.
