6/17 Server Event! With contests, prizes, and raffles!

ARR is wrapping up, and we'll soon have our hands full with Heavenwsard, so let's all get together and make this a night to remember!

Join us Wednesday, June 17 at 9PM Eastern in game or watch the festivities at www.twitch.tv/zalast!

Schedule:
8:30pm: Contest entrants assemble in Costa del Sol.
9:00pm: The contest begins, starting with the ladies :)
Prepare to spend at least 2 hours for the contest.
11:00pm: (or sooner) Community Steps!
11:45pm: Trial Challenges:

HOW TO ENTER: Contact either myself, Sera Aka'pjacks, Senor Esteban, or Ashur Mael in game and they will enter your name on our magical list! More contacts for this may be added in the future!

Details of each part of the nights events below:

The Fashion Show!

Want to prove yourself the most stylish in all the realm? Bust out those glamour prisms and unleash the dyes because the competition is on! There will be a swimwear contest and a glamour contest (so anything but swimwear)! Males will come before a panel of judges made up of Cactuars finest ladies. Ladies will have to fight for top spot before a panel of Cactuars most eager-to-judge-a-bunch-of-beautiful-women group of guys.

There will be 5 judges per panel rating you 1-10, for a max of 50 for the swimwear contest and 50 for the glamour contest. The top score is 100 and whoever gets highest wins some fabulous prizes!

Eligibility:
-Level 50 on at least one class/job.
-Don't be late!

When being judged, each contestant will take the stage (or small stretch of beach) and have a brief moment to pose or something? No long, drawn out acts please, just 10 seconds or so of whatever you can come up with! Feel free to use a minion as part of your look!

Fashion Show

The Prizes:
2nd and 3rd place:
100,000 gil and a Canopy Bed of your choosing.

1st place (1 first place female, 1 first place male):
Fat Cat Minion, 1,000,000 gil, a Canopy Bed of your choosing, your choice of one of the $5 Mogstation minions, and a mystery Heavensward prize (most likely this if its craftable: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/blog/001034.html details will be discussed with winners) (2nd and 3rd place prizes not including in 1st place prize)

Grand Prize:
In addition to the 1st place prize, one of the first place winners (so either the lady or the gentleman) will also recieve a 60 day game time code for FFXIV!

Steps of Faith Community Service!

Oh my gosh that title sounds awful! But as many of you know clearing Steps of Faith and beating the 2.55 storyline is required in order to do story quests in Heavensward! So after the Fashion show we'll get elite groups of 6 volunteers to carry 2 people at a time through Steps of Faith! If you need or know anyone that needs this be sure to let them know!

!!! If you're interested in being on of the ones doing the carrying, contact me in game plz, I need volunteers :D

First Person, No UI Primals!
An old favorite, and exciting self-imposed challenge often found on my stream, get your whole party to agree to try to take on the toughest primal you can without any player using their UI, and set their camera to first person!

What other activities will we come up with? I don't know but I plan on going as late as possible with all sorts of fun and shenigans! Hide and seek? Trivia? Whatever!

Raffle Prizes:
Au Ra Fantasia Raffle:
Do you desire to change to Au Ra but maybe don't have the disposable income? Start at 9pm contact the designated representative for the Au Ra raffle (we've yet to decide who that will be, so check back here or pay attention when the event gets started). Entry fee is 5,000 gil.

Nana Bear Raffle:
Want a Nana Bear minion? We've got 20! Speak to the designated representative (who is also yet to be decided) to be entered. No entry fee or other requirements.

The Livestream Giveaway:
Want a chance at a $5 Mogstation of your choice? Be sure to watch the stream at twitch.tv/zalast for your chance to win! This will be open to all viewers, not just Cactuar members. This will be done much later during the events!

This is tomorrow - sounds like it's going to be an interesting event for the server :)

Maybe an all swimsuit WoD? Who knows? I plan on playing/streaming late into the night! The contest may take up the first 2 hours, but anyone who wants to have some fun be sure to stick around! (Maybe I'll throw in some bonus prizes for people who accompany me in lots of shenanigans!)
