OK, so NOW what? (PS4 HW PSN)

I upgraded my PS3 version of the game to the PS4 version during the Upgrade Campaign. The game has always shown as "Not Bought" in the PSN Store, but I never paid it any mind.

I am now NOT ALLOWED to purchase Heavensward because of this.

WHAT.

THE.

FSTEAK.

I will NOT buy the game a second time, that's plain STUPID. FIX THIS.

I have noticed this also from looking around seems to be pretty wide spread problem for people that did PS3 > PS4

PSN store maintenance. Every Tuesday. All day.

I'm in the same boat but I called Sony Tech support.

Something else I've noticed- is it true that only the CE supports preorder goodies, preload and Early Access? There is no mention of ANY of that on the non-CE version's page.

That's the SE store, not PSN, two completely different platforms as far as I'm concerned. Even if they're offered up on the SE store, they might not be on PSN, for whatever reason, which is where I am ordering.

I hate to bother you since you have so much going on, but now I'm sort of concerned. I preordered a physical copy of PS4, and I also did the upgrade campaign from PS3>PS4. Will those of us ordering physical copies run into this same issue? Or resolving the PSN issue fix it for everyone all around? Just want to make sure, cause I very much don't want to be denied into Early Access or Launch period over this. Please and thank you for any info.!

If I were to hazard a guess the actual registration process with a registration code should be fine. The problem with the PSN store is that Sony has the store designed to prevent people buying the same license twice (with good reason). It also prevents you buying 'DLC' for games you don't own. My guess is that the upgrade from PS3 to PS4 versions of the client didn't flag anything on the PSN store so it still thinks people own a PS3 client and never bought a PS4 version.

It's the PSN account that has incorrect purchase history flags in this case, not the Mogstation game account. With that in mind there shouldn't be any problems registering a physical key.

I too did the upgrade from ps3 to ps4 on 3 of my accounts and all 3 of them show me able to buy upgrades to Heavenward for ps3 but on the ps4 side it shows the problem everyone else is seeing. ON a different note I am on the phone with Sony as we speak and they are aware of this problem. They are still doing maintenance as we speak and have already a note about this very issue when you call in. They were able to verify my ps4 eligibility as of April 4, 2014. I am confident this will get sorted out very soon.

You are absoutely correct in that the PSN store still thinks we need to purchase the ARR. Normally you register a code and the psn store just says download next to the game however with FFXIV it says 59.99 to purchase. However your service list might show a date of when you registered the code but that is totally different from what PSN has stored for the STORE. lol too many store words

Has there been and update to what is going on with the PSN for those whom swith from PS3 to PS4 Compain users?

Now my concern is that since I bought it the product says "Playable in 20 days", but in the description it says an early access is available.... If you just bought the ARR/HW bundle it does not include early access unfortunately since that edition isn't actually available until the 23rd due to it being intended only for brand new players. Since you already have an ARR account though I'm not sure how it'll work. If it contains two separate keys then you could presumably just add the HW key to your current account in which case your pre-order key should still grant early access... If it's one combined key for both ARR and the expansion though then it likely won't even let you register the key to your account since you already have ARR.

Well, at least you US players can see the game in the e-store.
Which is not the case of the EU players yet. I wonder if we will have the same issue...

The website store.playstation.com does list the pre-order bonuses, but the shop accessed through the PS4 does not.
Also, while the full-game bundle is shown as a separate product, both versions of Heavensward are actually listed as add-ons to the collector's edition of ARR...

Its unavailable Bcuz of the issue on the Lodestone news, all existing players get early access with pre order, If you buy the ARR/heavensward bundle, thats when you do NOT get the early access

Clicking on the the different editions for Heavensward will present you their purchase page, which just like the website, lists the pre-order bonus information.

As for Heavensward being considered as add-ons on PlayStation Network, this is how they are categorized in the store. (They're not specifically "CE version add-ons" but add-ons to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn).

I think their point is that they are treated as add-ons of the Collector's Edition, while the PS3>PS4 Campaign probably just registered the game to the PS4 as the Standard Edition. PSN needs it's hand held on these things, it seems.

Does anyone know why i can download FF ARR on my ps4 when my bro bought it on his ps4? It says i cant download because i already own but i didnt buy the full game i just downloaded the demo. Now its not letting me download. Deleted the demo and try downloading and it still said cant download you already own it.Now im downloading the demo again. I still have 12 days of my free trial but i want to play the full game because i reached level 20 and im not trying to increase another role and i want to go beyond level 20. People say i have to purchase the game again but i dont why i have too since i was always able to gameshare without a problem. It must be the trial.

So what do i have to do to remove free trial and actually play the game without limitations on ps4?

I play on PC and got early access for that but I'm also buying the ps4 version. So why doesn't that version give early access? Am I just supposed to buy them seperatly on the ps store?

Also I don't see that HW theme listed under JUST the expansion. So if I buy them separately I don't get the theme that I would have gotten by buying the bundle? Who designed it to be this way?!?

How do you get the theme? I cant find it. Did it come with the digital pre order or is it on psn separate somewhere?

Well, I have been trying to get it dealt with since I noticed it finally was uploaded around 3:00pm CST today 06-02-2015.

There seems to be a combination of problems.

1. If you started (like I did) with a HARD COPY version of the PS3 game, the PSN didn't add it to your list of games tied to your account.

2. If you had that version upgraded to the PS4, you finally got the PS3 version on your account but not the PS4.

Because of the above two situations, I was told by a PSN tech at 10:30pm today that my issue for trying to pre-order the PS4 Version of Heavensward (CE obviously) can't be done and why I am seeing "Tell me more" instead of "$59.99"

In my PSN story purchases FFXIV is being labeled as Game Service, because I've brough a hard copy for PS3 and upgraded it to PS4. The same way one of my physical PS4 games is too listed as game service. With all this situation I'm really afraid to loose early access and on top of that to have to buy both versions of the game, A Realm Reborn again and Heavensward. =[

Ya ... i have no idea what SE is doing ... but there is still nothing open on the ps4 or the site... even when i try to buy a PS4 Version of the standard edition it comes up saying " you cant do this because you already own it " from the PS3 upgrade thing ... and i really dont want to pre-order a 160+ dollar hardcopy ....

No. I have tried that and it comes up saying " you can not buy this due to already having a PS4 copy of the game " ....

it came with the digital bundle pre-order.

I see other player (PS3>PS4) report, they success upgrade to 3.0 collection pre order on JPSN.
