Either I'm completely blind or it doesn't exist; is there a roleplay forum here?
If not, then may I humbly request one, mods?

There isn't one because the entire roleplay community is on this site/forum.

I keep roleplaying for the lodestone blog. Can't wait to continue hunting vampires in Coerthas and Dravania.
Wait. FFXIV Roleplayers is actually a thing? I haven't RP'd in this game since ARR. Thanks for the link.
There are many ways to roleplay.
The proper way is to speak exclusively in an affected indecipherable Lominsan accent (including Rogue Guild slang) every time you DF a raid.
You may of course invent your own incomprehensible dialect, but the localizers were very kind to furnish us with one built-in.
I RP a bit, but mostly in terms of my character's backstory. You can't be an interesting character without a good backstory......
As another player linked the site, I will also add this in:
Balmung is the official NA-Legacy RP server, and is by far the highest amount of RP'ers.
Gilgamesh is a good alternative for Non-legacy RP, but I wound up leaving that server due to a lack of RP.
I've never really RP in MMO myself. I'm more inclined to RP established characters than OCs personally on forums or social media. RPing here on XIV always confuses me a bit and makes me wonder how things are done exactly...by the masses anyway since there's different ways.
We've got a community of roleplayers on Brynhildr! We mostly use LSs but there are a few FCs as well.
Had what I believe were two RPers in a DF'd ST - a Miqo'te pali and a Lala monk. Funniest. pair. evar. - just by what seemed to be character chemistry with each other xD
Not to sound creeper, but I hope to see more of them in the future. It brought an extra dimension to the raid.
i like to have simple RP text added in macros on to lesser used abilities, but other than that, i don't have the time to be talking during a dungeon all that much.
Outside of a dungeon however, i love to RP, lots.
What always saddens me about RP is the impermanence - so many great sessions get lost in the ether. Even if you do log them somehow, the magic is lost when all you've got is the chat log and some screenshots. That's really the only reason I stopped RPing in MMOs.
