Best Looking armor for paladin

What's the best looking armor or set for paladin?

I like the Divine War set.

Considering it's entirely subjective, there is no one best looking set.

I think the AF armour looks amazing though.

Ohh common the AF2 gear that will come on Heavensward looks awesome :O

I've seen paladins in some really fancy and elegant looking gear, I wish I could remember what it was. But I thought it looked awesome, personally. I'll see if I can find it while I have the time. x__x It's gonna drive me crazy in the back of my mind, lol.

Personally I don't even wear armor on my PLD, I wear a cotton shirt and iron legs/arm armor XD
But my fav is the High Allagan tank stuff... I want it... give me it...

All depends on personal style, and what message you want to get across. This game features many great armor selections to mix and match, keeping an eye open for what may work well togeather can lead to some very nice looks.

( An example of some mixed and matched armor i used for a glamour some time ago.)

Best looking one is the PvP lv100 gear imo
It looks nicer than the lv110 (again, imo)

If I'm going to wear armor, it'll be the level 90 'artifact' gear. For me a Paladin needs to look heroic, not like the kind of person who will steal your children and raze your village to the ground. To that end, I really hate armor which makes them look dark and menacing, it feels counter to their role.

Though, right now my Paladin is sporting a spring dress and a corsage... so I guess I just like looking adorable more than heroic.

The only thing I'd swap the AF gear for would be the augmented AF gear so I can dye it gold. Now if only those augmentations weren't so stupidly overpriced...

I think the augmented AF armor is pretty cool! Since you can color it. Although, I do prefer the i90 set sometimes!

High Allagan and basic Artifact armour comes in as close favourites, though.

On females, I say high allagan looks best.

AF, divine war, wootz although divine war looks more drk than pld.

personally dont like robes on tanking classes - prefer full plate mails.

*edit* cant forget Odin armour.

Unfortunately, a lot of tank gear looks just about the same. I like the augmented Gallant set, but it really only looks good dyed a few colors. I eventually broke down and hunted my way to the Maelstrom and Adder tank gear. I'm in the middle, I've got on the Adder tank pants/boots/gauntlets. Those pants are the best part, too bad all the tops cover them :(

My favorite is Wootz. You can dye an augmented magitek shield to match the color of the underlying mail.

I'm personally a fan of the Heavy Wolfram set for Paladins, as well as the AF1 gear. Whatever looks bulky but not ugly ;P
Shame though since I absolutely love the Maelstorm Heavy Scale Coat too much and tank glamours are shared...

For standard sets. WoD is nice. While leveling I would glamour a pure black plundered hauburgen with pure white plundered sabatons and guantlets. Now i just do infantry thighboots/ miquote skirt/ ringbands/ and hempen chemise or glade shirt.

I like to mix and match my own sets. This is wootz cuirass, mythril gauntlets/sabatons, heavy wolfram helm, and plain long skirt.

The plain old L40 Mythril gear is the best sterotypical "Knight in Shining Armor" set, bar none.

The AF1 gear is great; so is the Wootz.

I prefer using Lion armor for PLD, but since I want my WAR wear barbarian-style, I make both barbarian-style ._.

I kid, I kid. The AF set is definitely the most "Paladin", since it's literally designed to be that way. The PvP set also has that going for it and the Wootz set is pretty sexy while being more Knight-esque armor than something a Warrior would wear. So all 3 of those would have my vote, though if you glamour the AF/PvP set it won't show up for WAR/DRK.

But really, it's totally up to you. Completely subjective. Just think about what you want your armor to say about you. Find a nice color pallet that complements your character and roll with it.

I really like the Serpent Elite gear for my paladin. For my set, i use the following items:

• Excalibur Zeta, dyed Nophica Green
• Aegis Zeta, dyed Kobolt Brown
• Fat Chocobo Headpiece (for funsies) which is set to hidden
• Serpent Elite's Haubergeon
• Serpent Elite's Gauntlets
• Breeches of the Divine War
• Templar's Sollerets

Coil2 and Coil3 Armor just look amazing. Can't be beaten by anything else up until now.

Thanks! I think it is the color I used to make it stand out. I stick out like a sore thumb in crowds. I usually see it in black, white or dark red. When I previewed it in Metallic Blue, I knew that was the color for it. I was going to make it black, but that blue makes it look electric!

is there a website that shows the appearances of all the armors?
