Au ra twitter campaign?

Not sure if ppl already posted this before(not going through pages looking for it) but have they announced the winners of this contest?

I was wondering about this as well. On the contest page it says prizes will be given on or around the 29th, but it'd still be cool to know who the winners are!

Yeah it doesn't look like they've said anything about it yet. Maybe Monday, I guess.

I hope it's sometime soon. But most likely Monday is when they'll announce the winners and actually hand out prizes... or say they will anyway.

Contests that usually involve virtual items like this often times have a delayed hand out rate.

Ah ok. I was just wondering about it cause it was running crickets.

Haha yeah, it's killing me too and I highly doubt I win anything.

The messed up part about SE using Twitter as a contest platform is for the players that didn't previously have a Twitter account and created one for the contest.

Their entries were not showing up in the hashtag searches; it's something to do with how Twitter handles spam prevention/new accounts. There was a Twitter question to SE about it that never got a response so it will be interesting to see if any of the new accounts are chosen as winners or if they were just completely SOL.

They wouldn't show in the hashtag, but that's why SE also had us @them. They should be able to see all of them because of mentions.

So it's been 5 days since the supposed date they'd release prizes. And it's been 4 Weeks since the contests' official end and no news from SE about winners. D:

No answer? D: seriously?

According to Reddit some people have already received their scarves for winning, but there's no idea if all have been handed out yet. So far I haven't seen a list of winners

A few people mentioned it in the thread, OP included a screenshot and edited in the message and item tooltip

I got my prize this morning via moogle mail, so they're probably going to announce the winners soon!

Just got my scarf like five minutes ago.
Since i never got one during 1.0 I didn't think I'd ever have a chance to get it again. It's nice to finally have!

Did you just get it? Like you were logged ok for a whole then saw it come over? Or was it the first time you logged in today. Because if it is the former that means they are still getting sent out

I have been logged in for the greater part of the day, and just like when you're sent regular mog mail, I got an event mail icon.

I was so disheartened when I saw some screenshots of winners on Reddit. I thought at least one of them looked terrible and not at all creative. I checked at lunch (eastern) and didn't have any mail. I'll check again when I get home, but 'm not terribly hopeful at this point since I know awards had already been sent out.

Man, if I had known you were supposed to enter multiple times... Boggles my mind. I did one Au Ra that I though was awesome. But seems like you didn't have a chance if you didn't enter 5+ times. >< Disappointing to say the least.

im pretty sure you didnt even have to make multiple entries (although my gf did anyways), you could have submitted the same character each day as well. i know she submitted 2 of her characters twice. anyways, glad she won the scarf for me haha

The EU campaign just started, does this mean all other PAL regions are disqualified from entering?

It said only one entry per day counted and multiple per day would be disqualified, or something like that.

This contest was pretty disappointing. I hope they keep all future contests on the forums where everyone has a fair chance at winning.

Because I don't use twitter very often, my entry wasn't able to stay on the entries list and so I had no chance of winning from the start.
