If you go into ARR content with fewer than the required amount of people, yes, you will be unsynced.

Edit again: It actually only says level sync, but hopefully they'll unsync ilvl too. If not, it'll still be fun to wreck the wretched place with level 50 abilities.

Oh yeah, just go in there as a lvl 60 SMN and blow the place up with the power of Bahamut. Sweet beautiful revenge.

How nice will it be to ilvl 170 holy bomb the first room.

Stone Vigil regular mode is my victim of choice. Oh how I hate that dungeon. My only bad experience with AV is the first time I ran it and we couldn't fill our second DPS slot after our friend had to leave for IRL matters, since no one wanted to run the dungeon, lol.......

Of course! The more the merrier! Aurum Vale will be a smoking crater when we're done and all the morbols will be refugees fleeing to another dungeon, which we will devastate right after.

That sounds crazy. Like in some dungeons you would literally be able to run through and ignore every enemy and just kill bosses o.O

I don't know... They may make it so everything still aggros.

Assuming that the mobs just don't auto-attack anyways, without concern for level...

Your problem with this is?

I like AV but CC can die in a fire along with SV

Time to get back at coincounter for all the laggy deaths in AV.

It is not like this doesn't happen already all the time with Fate parties. Really don't see the difference. Bad players are still not gonna learn anything and folks with legitimate(book kills, zeta item drops, hell-even seal farming from drop turn ins) reasons to clear the old content can do so with much less hassle.

Well my title is proper. Aurum Vale will be resting in peace (or pieces) when I'm done killing it.

If you go into AV solo, you'll probably still get your butt handed to you unless you're a healer or SMN. lol

Stuff just hits way too hard in this game.

Cutter's Cry all the waaaaaay. It really is the worst. Worse than Stone Vigil and Dzemael Darkhold.

Eh, I dunno. On the first boss for example, the DoTs tick very low even. My 6.2k hp NIN would probably have the thing murdered before it murdered me.

It won't. You Either group with other low level players or join an FC. In fact getting help from high level players will be easier than ever as you only need to convince one and won't need to wait for a party to assemble.

How won't it? and how long til you get high lvl's complaining *noobs wont stop bothering me to powerlvl them through dungeons Q.q :(* Doing this will absolutely destroy low level roulette as all high levels will only want to go to low level dungeons for their own glamour needs and be done with it.

If they do allow it, I think it would be mostly good.
You hear older players groaning about having to deal with newbies who don't want to listen, and you have newbies who complain about "elitists" expecting them to be able to read minds and know everything about all content before entering.
This would largely separate the two camps, and the community should overall be happier for it.

I'd be more afraid of newer people without big friends having longer queue times. I think they'd need to make roulettes a -lot- more appealing to compensate for that then.

Powerleveling shouldn't be a concern either if party member level differences kill xp, like usual.


I also wonder.. does this feature apply to only dungeons, or would it happen to apply to all instances? Like to make it more convenient for people who like low-manning raids? Because I thought I remember something about that being mentioned a while back.

Pretty sure the mobs are of the aggro types that will aggro anyway.

Have they said whether or not this will apply to boss fights as well?
