It'd be nice for all those who're female players or even males who're homosexual, bi players etc to have eye candy as well as the straight male or lesbian/bi females out there. If you're going to cater for one half you may as well cater to both, even if it's just in one area of the gold saucer.

Yes there's a petition. I wonder how many signatures it'll even get or if SE would bother since it's such a small thing.

It would be nice though, I mean I like the bunny girls (but I swing both ways), but bunny guys would be nice too.

I don't think that this is quite necessary. They're letting guys get in on Bunny ears, they could add some on the NPCs when this happens but it doesn't matter as much to me what they do with the NPCs in game, that's their business. I was all behind clearing the PC restriction so getting to see players running around as sexy bunnies will be nice.

I mean adding sexy male bunnies at the saucer would probably change the female bunnies attitudes a bit too! They make comments like "It'll be nice to speak with a girl for a change" because they're expected to flirt with the male customers! And there are other NPCs that make comments about the sexual object-ness of it all. I don't want to force them to make changes to all these little nuances. I'll leave it up to them and be happy that boys will be able to wear it at all and not force it on NPCs. They have feelings too.

But male characters should have the same options female characters do. I don't just want bunny ears I want the whole outfit, in essense. I mean female characters can wear the, "BEST MAN" suit, but no male character can wear the Bridesmaid dress. Currently there is more gear that is female specific, and not male specific, and anything that is geared towards guys, like its the male version of a female specific outfit, can be worn by females as well. Just look at the best man suit, the sailor suit, and the long skirt, all have female versions, but the male versions can be worn by both genders. This isnt fair to male characters. I will definitely sign the petition.

I do wish they'd at least make more male exclusive clothing if they keep this trend up. I don't mind female exclusive clothing, but there's way more than male equivalents.

He may be hetrosexual (which in itself is not confirmed) however it is clear he appreciates the male body. He has a statue of himself in only his underwear, and only usually wears underwear/shorts when traversing eorzea. It is quite clear he has an appreciation of the male physique.

i agree with this completely, i understand that designing gender only gear its alot easier to think up ideas for multiple dresses for females than suits for males (evern if you stop to think about it now, you'll think of more different dress designs) but there really needs to be more male only stuff. imo not only do females have more gear i think that in most cases it looks better than the male counterpart (if there is one) aswell. i made my character male from the start because i didn't really think there would be much of a difference but now i can't help but feel like doing that robbed me of being able to use some of my favourite looking gear in the game. After all, its not like i can't use most of the "male" stuff if i made a female anyway...

I think you missed the point. Additionally, that isn't the lore of the Saucer. Besides, the Saucer isn't a "male exclusive" location, females go there too. It's a casino and if you've ever been to a casino you know that men and women dress pretty much the same, in common areas, not saying you wont find scantily clat people in specific locations, but even then you will see both sexes. Plus he has a wife, who is also an owner, so why wouldn't she want men in the Saucer to dress similarly, I mean look how her husband dresses.

I said it was "designed" from a heterosexual male viewpoint. This means, it was designed in a way that would seem most attractive in his, a heterosexual male, mind. He likes his bunnygirls, so he's going to fill his establishment with them. It's a privately owned place, so he's free to design it any way he wants, catering to anyone he wants. That's the beauty of private industry, you can do whatever you want whenever you want. :D

He has an appreciation for his own body. Let's face it, Godbert is a bit of a narcissist. He wants people to KNOW he built his empire, KNOW what he looks like, so that they may admire him as much as he admires himself.
