Whose the top 5 guilds on leviathan

I was curious on whose the top 5 guilds on leviathan... i don't really know how to determine this but if i had to guess on determining this is by how times has a guild cleared t13

It would indeed depend on your criteria. In my honest opinion the best "social" guild would be Adloquium, they have raiders as well as laid back players. They also have 0 tolerance for drama and provide a non toxic community in this way. In terms of more harcore guilds, The Royalz and Nostalgia are probably going to be the ones to see the server record clears this coming 3.0. Advent Union as well as Critical Rip have been recovering from unfortunate static outcomes however they aren't by any means guilds to sneeze at and are still serious about raiding. My intentions here aren't to cause any negativity, however I recommend avoiding Diamond Dust, Tribe and Geuno.

I know this is old. But its pretty funny how you describe best and worst guilds. We are a very social guild with some hardcore raiders. At the time this was posted we too were clearing T13 and had it on farm a long with all content except savage second coil. I am from Geuno obviously. But no reason to avoid us because we are large and social. Geuno revamped their FC and is known for having a very social and friendly fc for all players. Our goal is to help new players level up and help guide them in which ever path they want to go in (hardcore, casual, crafter, gatherer, etc.). But no reason to avoid us because we are large and social. We have a zero tolerance from drama as well. We can get a little goofy though.

AU (advent union) most players were banned or went to critical rip and this FC is no longer. Tribe disbanded as well and merged with a different FC. Diamond Dust's leader flipped out and kicked all his members and restarted that fc. I am friends with the leader of Adloquium, nothing bad to say about them but they are a small and quaint FC, if that is what your into.

What do you want in an FC? A social fc? A hardcore fc? A small fc? A large fc?

This is a seriously old post that someone drudged back up so let me just state something very clearly: Leviathan as a server has changed drastically since Akomplice first asked his question. The best players all relocated to other servers. Leviathan in general is a social and casual server. If anyone is looking for a serious raiding presence (as stated by the OP) then your ultimate bet would be to check out Gilgamesh instead.

Also, Advent Union had the best history since 2.0 with being the server's top guild. AU was by no means a laughing stock, and it's quite disgusting what this server did to AU. What I had stated many months ago was during a period of rebuilding which had started once Final Coil was brought to the duty finder. However now, because of the blind words spewed by casual players, this server in terms of top raiding guilds is completely dead.

If anyone thinks I'm just talking out of my backside, I encourage you to look at the server's entire raiding history and note the names and dates of FCs and their clears. Please also be drawn to the lack of FCs on the current content patch (3.0, as I'm sure this post will find its way once more to page 10+) versus the abundance of Linkshell groups and the massive red flag that this draws. Note also at the time of this post, only four groups on the entire server have downed A3, with one of those being yesterday and the new AU hasn't even done so. Simply more proof that this is not the server to be raiding on.

I never once said worst. I also had had a lot of interaction with Geuno at the time of my reply to the OP which is why I felt I had grounds to say something. The FCs I listed were ones that didn't fit the OP's search criteria. Simple as that.

First, hello Nimbus & Solene! And thank you, Solene, for mentioning Adloquium in a positive light.

Boy, isn't this a subjective topic? Like was mentioned, big/small, raid/social, etc. Everyone is looking for something different.

We choose to keep our membership between 40 & 70 members on purpose, and never recruit. We generally only accept a new member if they are friends with a current member, so that even new members are at least connected to someone in the company. It's not to be exclusive, but alleviates situations where people are in the same FC and don't even know it. We do accept people who just want to join us by word of mouth, but those applications are rare. We have some purely casual/social players, & some members who remain competitive in the hunt for server first clears.

Some players will thrive in a competitive atmosphere, others in a large company with tons of activity in FC chat regularly. And even then, not all large companies and raid companies are alike.

Leviathan is the best server. You should transfer here.

Your post was completely off topic, and quiet honestly very stupid. The OP asked for the top 5 guilds which honestly has no real answer. Top guilds!? Top guilds last a long time, top guilds don't form and break up the next day(IMO). You have many nice FCs here in Levi that can be considered "top" for many reason.

Transferring to Gilga or downplaying Levi isn't going to make you any less of a scrub, Just saying. Thats the last I post here.

Let me correct you on a couple things. The new AU (wc?) aka Soda Pop's group has cleared A3 multiple times. Not to mention other groups have cleared A3 on the server. They simply haven't reported their kills.

Also I want you to take a look at this. Only three groups outside of Elysium have cleared A3.

To be honest, it seems like you're frustrated with your own progression and decided it's the server's fault instead of your own.

About 20 groups have cleared A4S, so how have only 4 clears A3S?

Oh hey I raided with your group before A1S. Was a mix of people screaming at each other (screaming) on top of some other conversation id probably get banned for posting here. Then when we left to repair I got kicked from the group and no one would respond as to why, and you were in that group. I have to say it was pretty satisfying clearing A1S and seeing you still look for healers on PF.

tldr: this fc is everything ppl say there are

Fine, I guess I have to be the one to give a serious reply because you nerds are arguing over who has the cutest cat/popcorn gif/maymay/circlejerk thing.

To anyone transferring to Leviathan in search for a top-tier free company: there is only one raid group (at this time of writing) who is currently farming A4S, and it's lead by a guy named Matt Jablonski. Check out his videos on Twitch if you're interested or want to learn a thing or two. Don't concern yourself with all the drama in the thread, it's not representative of the community at all. The players of Leviathan hold no grudges whatsoever; it's only laughs, smiles, and dead bosses when we raid.

Leviathan is casual as fuck, someone point me in the direction of a server where I can get some real hardcore ERP.

Not that many according to the Census. If 58 players (which seems off given math) have cleared that's only 7 groups.

There are most definitely unreported kills, I don't know about a3s specifically, but I know of several groups that have 1 & 2 that aren't listed on the progression thread because they don't visit the forums.

Also is very much false information as there exists more groups then what people are led to believe that have Savage clears.

The census isn't current. It was from like a week or 2 ago? World 15th kill was last week. And that doesn't include FCs that have multiple raid groups that clears since world ranking is only based on FCs. And I know of personally 3 kills since the 15th.

Edit: Census was from start of 9/7.

Well I can say that on this server, we have all different types of FCs. Ones that Strive to be the best not only the server but in world rankings, Ones that pride themselves on casual play style and enjoy every aspect of the game, and ones that are just for good friends that you have generated over your time in Eorzea. Which ever you choose is based on what you are looking for. As an avid "PUG LYFE Player" (until recently as of Mid Aug(DoG Static)) I enjoy playing with a majority of the server whether it be Hardcore raiders or just the casual map farming :) . So please lets stop the "FC down playing" and lets progress as a server to make it one in which more people will want to come and join in :) If you want someone to help with leveling, advice on a certain job (I don't know everything, but can send you to someone that does), or hang out and kill something, hit me up in game and if not busy will help out. See you in game.

Whilst I'm not sure about RMT, I do know that in the UK (and possibly through the EU) this would be classed as an illegal lottery if it is operating without a licence. The reasoning behind this is that money is being used, if it had been purely in game items it would be fine. The laws are very convoluted about this and have recently become even more so.

Thanks for the response Culfinrandir. I've read over the license agreement like 100 times over and contacted Square Enix directly when i got the idea for confirmation. I was told that it is illegal and considered RMT. Because of this we'll be purely using in game items unless i get some type of confirmation that this act is legal. Would be fun but i do understand how its considered illegal and RMT. I may follow up with SE on giving away a real life item without the cost of any gil. That isn't a trade of any kind and doesn't sound like cheating honestly. I just want higher rewards for my fc really if that makes sense.

Basically, the Terms & Conditions have a clause in them that (to paraphrase) states "Whatever we say, goes. It doesn't have to be written down anywhere & can change at any time". It gives SE the ability to make decisions without having to change the legal agreements which would leave them open to challenge (theoretically if you decide you don't like the new written terms you can stop playing & demand a refund).

So many people here screech "WHERE IZ RITTEN?!? NOT RITTEN MEENZ U LIE!!!111" whenever something like your situation pops up (not saying you did that, it's obvious that you've sensibly looked into it). The existing terms mean it doesn't NEED to be written in black & white for it to be against the rules - if they say it is, then it is. No arguments. =D

Personally, I think it's the terminology being used and them just saying the safest answer for them. I'd figure a raffle is typically something where you buy a ticket with real money in hopes of a prize. But considering you can gift MogStation items to other people and streamers do giveaways all the time, there shouldn't be any issue unless people try to make it an issue, and the GMs just shut it down. It's like kids fighting that the other kid took their toy so the parent just takes the toy away.

What i have liked on Leviathan is the friendlier attitude and i guess you can say casualness. I do consider our FC casual but we have members who run Savage in statics outside of it. W have a variety of players different ages, 21 the youngest to our oldest member being in their 60's.
Everyone has something they like :)

Critical Rip, High Allagan Hoes, Vanguard just to name a few... I know this is super old but was looking for some information on a [MC][FC] that is on A8S or farming this by now as well but these 3 are the way to go at the moment with raiding. But to be 100% honest most Free Companies aren't raiders it comes down to who you know and what linkshell(s) you are a member of. But if it is the buffs for raids you are looking for those 3 would be it. But I also can't 100% disagree with you either. The server as a whole is about 98% casual. 2% making up that small FCs like the 3 I mentioned above.

I have no idea. I used to be part of Geuno and left because of these "Raffles" along with the fact nimbus and her "troupe" have consumed and bought like 5 other free companies. this Geuno stigma makes me so sick sometimes that they would end up being the reason i cough up $20 and transfer to another server. I haven't due to the fact I've been playing on this server for nearly 4 years now and I would be losing a lot of friendships i have made here.
