Who do you feel had the strongest Presentation? The Weakest?

Personally, I feel SMN and MNK got the most out of the previews as far as being shown what they were being given and what was shown. That Dreadwyrm Aetherflow and additional uses for Greased Lightning is too good, as well as an option to regenerate their own TP through chakra/meditation.

The Weakest? Gonna have to be bard followed by ninja. Really not much to show for a bard, it really feels like a wasted song to turn them into a turret that disables auto attacking (no barrage), and not much else aesthetically. Ninjas I also feel like they got very little addressing to what new toolkits are given... something about huton extension through combos and enmnity misdirection.

Out of the jobs I play, I was most underwhelmed by scholar. I was confused by this new AOE heal. Will it be a standard AOE heal, or will the fairy sacrifice HAVE to be done in order to trigger the AOE heal?

As for the most interesting, I found WHM, AST, and SMN the most interesting (even tho no new egis).

i think scholar and astrologian didn't get a good prentation mostly because i couldn't see what effect there spells were doing, i got treated to a light show, but other then that all i saw was some slight flash, astro especially since there cards are emit to buff, but out of the most attacks i think i saw 1 debuff 1 attack and possibly 3 heals? and there ,looked to be 8 actions, so something is missing from astro :c

I don't really see how more egis would add to summoners, what else can they do at this point aside from the caster, melee and tanking? Granted if it's about being promised about a new egi or aesthetics, then that's something e lse...

From what I saw and heard, SCHs are getting different "plans" that allow them to boost their current mitigation effects, or forego those mitigation effects in favor of stronger direct healing. I guess it does fill in some of their shortcomings and you don't be SOL if you DF a double scholar for raids.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not one of the people who are devastated claiming SMN is dead LOL. Just was looking forward to having a mini Shiva with me. But, I see your point. The only other SMN they could have really done was maybe a debuff summon. I still think the SMN video looked really cool.

I think DRG got the spot light also I sensed alot of bias with blm :P they pretty much revealed everything for that job

Nice to see War getting a dps stance. I can only image how much it would do when str stacking.

Because that's different from how good those changes might be for the class.

Well, in my case the ones that made me go "woah" the hardest were DRK, MNK, BLM and NIN.
The new skills animations looks badass and DRK's weaponskills looked just as amazing as I thought they would. Jumping on my enemy head-on will be fun as hell XP

NIN I think got more nerfed than buffed in a sense, but the Huton maintenance through weaponskills sounds fun.
MNK sounds a lot more fun to play now too! (as if it wasnt before)
BLM now got a lot more to actively calculate numbers with, GREAT!!

But the ones that gave me the least impression were undoubtly the Healers in general... maybe because Im not much of a healer...
Altho I like the idea of dressing like Link and sacrificing the fairy... DIE NAVI >=D!!

They still went into detail with what the other classes were getting, and still showcased most of the skills and their animations. I'm just speaking in general of the content, animation, and their approach with the classes/jobs.

Ninja easily had the weakest, and will probably just slowly start to go down the drain in game... they basically just said "and on to ninja.. NERFS! Have fun!"..

Talking about jumping to conclusions.

I think once we go into battle, these jobs will be interesting. I also got the sense they tried to have more of a priority rotation for all jobs in order to make battle more interesting.

Ninja looked amazing. Out of all the jobs, Ninja right now shines most animation-wise. I wish all jobs had a unique unsheathed run and jump. It adds so much to a job.

Can't wait to try out all jobs!

I'm sure I'm biased since I main it but WAR's changes are a lot bigger than were let on. Essentially the ability to build abandoned stacks while in an OT stance and switch them to Defiance for 1:1 wrath stacks is pretty big.

I think ninja was by far the weakest presentation. Maybe Yoshida doens't like ninja that much. and 2nd didn't show much of scholar or astro im guessing b/c they are heeling jobs..its hard to show. OMG that dark aura for DRK!

These news for BRDs are good, shame that the skills just look lame from what I have seen so far. But yeah, overall BRD has probably the worst animations so it is kinda ok I guess. I didn't expect much.

so was there much info released about MCH?? looking at the short video looks like turrets attacks etc arent controlled by the players unless im mistaken ;/

im loving whatever theyre doing to MNK, it solves both the GL3 going down during phase change and gives MNK actual burst skill

i watched the stream, they said they have 2 stances (which we knew for a long time now) and that there cards could be held or shuffled (a lot of people guessed and i think they said that when they first talked a bit about the job) the only new piece of info we got was you can hold a card back and use a 2nd card to change the effects, that was the only new info :c

Summoner had the strongest presentation but they didn't go in depth it only the Black Mage went into detail they showed 10 different abilities for the Black Mage.
