Cool video. Lots of tasty stuff about the main scenario. But if THIS is the new theme song, what was in the cinematic? I figured since it was there and later an instrumental version was used in every HW video it must be the new theme song. Guess I was wrong.

I have to say, I didn't expect the dungeons to be so diverse. Not to mention the music. Still, if I won't see any vampires in that gothic looking and sounding castle, there will be a riot.

Glad to see Uematsu was commissioned to do the new theme song. Only he could have pulled it off with this quality.

I liked the theme song by Uematsu-san. But I like other theme songs by Uematsu-san more (Final Fantasy VIII, IX).

Bummed that they brought back Susan Calloway to sing it. Ugh. Not a fan of her warbling voice.

I agree. The New Zealand singer Hayley Westenra (whom my character is named and modeled after) would have done a MUCH better job. Her voice is very angelic and powerful, not going to lie.

Looks like they also gave us FFX version of megaflare, but as a vertical beam. Hooray for Bahamut abilities.

From that clip it looks like (and this is purely speculation) we take on aspects of primals and use some of their signature abilities as our attacks. That's a SMN i can get behind playing.

They discussed all the classes in the stream properly. SMN will basically be gathering/invoking/channeling Bahamut's energy for what'll more or less be a super mode, and yes, that's Akh Morn.

The music on the job preview video is really nice. I hope it's included somewhere in the expansion, maybe in some dungeon or trial.
