So when is 1.19?

on 8/15 Yoshi-P said it was coming late September, well with "late September" 2-3 weeks away and no official date given since LFP XVI, should we be expecting another delay at this point?

I only ask bc I'm very excited. Just a little update would be nice :cool:

It will be done when its done, if they give an exact date now and its slightly delayed people will rage

I am expecting it in the first week of October. Projects like this are always delayed.

In theory it's almost certain to come out just before or just starting October, since the patch includes the October festivals.

just to know, a patch don't require to be uploaded the same day an event start :X you can download the datas one year before, and the set day the event will start. So stating it'll be october because october event it's wrong. We can still hope in september

This. Didn't we download the mouse "event" a few weeks before it started?
My guess stays at the 22nd for a nice 1 year anniversary :P
And I doubt it'll be delayed loads like previous patches since anything they miss out can just be implemented in 1.19a and 1.19b

I know, I was stating that because they've already said late September, and added in the patch notes that the October festivals are in the patch, that it won't be delayed into like, mid-october/early november etc., otherwise having the event data in the patch becomes pointless as we'll have already missed it. We'd have to have it before the start of the event to give people time to download and install the patch, and since the patch sounds to be quite big, given what it includes, it'd be sound to release it at least a week or two before any event so people with slow connections can get it in time.

So yeah, wasn't saying it was going to be on the first day of an event, just that since it includes event data, it has to be out before an event, therefore allowing us to estimate that it'll be around the end of September/start of October.

We'd know if the October event has already been added because people would have found the event items in the dats. Events can however be delayed. Pretty sure the easter event was.

They don't usually give an exact date until the last moment that they possibly can. I think 1.18 was an exception because people were going psycho crazy about it since it had been delayed extensively.

1.19 is on the right track for it's late September release date. We've gotten tons of insight into what is going to be in the patch and they have been giving us mini news updates on particular aspects of it in the last few weeks. This was exactly what they did for 1.18 before it was released.

The last update given about stuff in the 1.19 patch was posted as 2am Japanese time by the dev. If he's still in the office at 2am to post that, that means they're probably working their asses off and doing major over-time to get this patch out, with all it's content, on time. Even if it is delayed by a few days or weeks, it'll be for all the right reasons, and their dedication to fixing this game up is pretty admirable, compared to a lot of other mmo developers.
(Yes Mythic Entertainment, we mean you and your extremely still-broken Warhammer Online with it's million-and-one bugs that have never been fixed since beta) :p
