Can warriors get an appearance hammer?

I just want a hammer or maul to swing around for my warrior, or for a paladin a 1 handed mace would be really cool!

Different weapon choices for different classes (that make sense!) would be a huge buff to appearance. You can also sell them on the store for $$$!

Suggestions:

GLD:
1h Mace, Spiked Club.

Marauder:
2h Hammer, 2h Maul.

Pugilist:
Free-Hand Fighting.

Lancer:
Pole-Axe, Staff

Archer:
Crossbow (May Require different animations.)

Rogue:
Rapier and Buckler (May Require different animations.)

Conjurer • Thaumaturge • Arcanist:
Free-Hand Casting.
Walking Stick.

Come on, imagine the $$$!

Since you called these as "weapon appearance" and then on the monk "no weapon appearance" sounded like they would not get one.
Maybe word it like the Mages; Free-hand fighting or something.

I am all for the options of more diversity and costumization options.

Of course, while keeping the classes unique too.

Those probably will be other classes down the line. I imagine the Maladin and the Horrior will be very popular.

Its easier to have classes forfill more then one role then make new classes that are way too similar to the other classes.

Warrior is a specialized Marauder and Marauders are axe fighters.

So a hammer for Warrior could be something like this (but bigger):

What SE can do is removing the armory restrictions a bit again. So a player can level up a Hammer class and give it 15 Marauder skills from his Marauder.

I've used both in real life. Whilst there is some weight differences, whats the big difference between an axe and hammer fighter?

I mean, they are very different weapons for very different things. However the way you use them isn't all that different, even when you work with them.

I don't remember any "axe" specializations when I played my Marauder and Warrior to 50, a lot of the things you faced with an axe a hammer would be much better.

nah nah.. give the monks nunchaku!! May require different animations! lmao.. And it would still be blunt dmg

I could get behind Maces for PLD and Hammers for WAR. Very DnD.

This is something I would pay money for.

I would rather a whole new class that uses a great hammer and another one that uses a mace.

The game is doing fine as is.

I pay a subscription fee for my version of the end game. My end game involves collecting clothing and weapons. I would like to avoid things like this being placed behind a paywall when we have in game alternatives we can use to obtain them. This is one of the reasons I play a subscription mmorpg in the first place.

1/2 the armor of the game can't even be dyed. Lol.

Dragoons will get some pole axes in HW from what I've seen in the bench.

Ok, then what would you suggest adding to the cash shop? I mean, your post is completely unconstructive in the fact you don't tell me why. These items would take extra animation and an extra amount of work and make your character unique to the base game. That is why I suggested adding them to the cash shop, since its not really required. It makes sense. However, your post: "Don't add it because I SAID SO!" doesn't really make sense.

Some armor and clothing doesn't need to be dyed in order for it to be desirable. I have plenty of cute outfits and weapons that can't be dyed but I still enjoyed finding and collecting them.

Dyeing is almost stupid as hell in this game. A lot of it mis-matches because you can't dye but certain parts of the gear. Rarely do I dye ANYTHING.

Why? Starting a new class that is so similar to another class. Well - is a rather stupid concept. Why make a new class when you can just make a new weapon? Less work, more money, less time wasting development.

There is SO much into making a new class. Balance concerns and all that.

People want new class/jobs.
So you're saying that we should never have any more class/jobs when we can just give them to the ones we already have?
It's their job to develop new things in this game. It's a MMO. Why should we pay them to stop creating new things entirely?
A new class entirely would give us new skills, story and all that fun stuff.

Thanks for putting words in my mouth miss B. I am not against adding new classes! I would love new classes! I just don't want classes that are so similar it shouldn't be a new class. Why add for example, another physical class that is just like warrior except uses a hammer? That isn't fun OR interesting.

How about a new class that uses illusions, buffs, and causes chaos? See! That is new class material! Something completely different then what we have now.

If we had a hammer class then it could use Lightning or something and have a whole new skill set entirely. I rather have that, then it wasted on a Paladin or something
and you're still doing the same crap rotations lol. Call the hammer class the Viking lol.

Interesting Idea, but does it have to be a hammer? Why not a flail? Or a ball and chain?

A Ball and chain would not only be really unique looking it would be cool.

Yes please, I really want a hammer so my Paladin Leeroy cosplay will be complete. If you say "how can a warrior deal slash damage with a blunt weapon?" I will simply direct you to the monk zodiac weapon since they have claw/spike weapons yet they still deal blunt damage.

The problem is that a LOT of people, who don't want to pay extra for a game they're already paying for, will complain and it will be one of the few times where the complaints are justified. The kind of aesthetic changes you are asking for are huge ones, especially if they are adding in new animations.

A solution could be to make these items available through challenge contents. Of course, you will still get complaints from people who can't clear the challenge contents but screw them.
