Will we get a greatsword version of Zantetsuken? I mean, the sword's already pretty huge... For the love of all that is holy, make it happen. I must have it.

Well I guess technically he's the sword itself. Which only strengthens the idea he can't be any other class. -

When ninja was added they added a weapon for that class to the behemoth rewards so just because other classes don't have it doesn't mean much.
The fact that only 1 class gets vanity rewards from odin is terrible considering you NEED a ton of people in your server participating in the fate in order to clear it. coupled with the fact that he gets stronger with each clear on your server the rewards are getting near impossible to obtain.
They NEED a new incentive for people who already have those pieces of vanity otherwise they might as well remove the fate from the game.
The sword is already long as hell there is no reason they can't make a 2h variation. -

I seem to ... recall seeing something like this. Don't remember where or what, my memory is completely rubbish, but yeah originally one-handed weapon given a two-handed version. Or maybe the other way around... but point is, in the end, both versions existed. So I don't see why not. The Eastern/Northern dichotomy between blade and Odin himself already makes him enough of a mix, why not consider his "more a DRK than PLD" aura as well? xD

Chances are LORE wise, players aren't even getting the real thing. Making a variation of it isn't hard. Hes asking for a great sword version of it not asking to allow DKs to wield it.

After all, if you've seen the Odin housing item, you'd see the bloody sword is huge. Even on Odin himself the blade is huge. Making a two handed version shouldn't be that bad/hard. Although the guard would probably have to be changed slightly.(Maybe)

THM can have a wand so they can use the shiled you can buy from Golden saucer or just some Odin themed badass staff
WHM - some Odin themed staff not really sure what though lol
Astrologian (AST?) - a Odin symbol card gyroscope thing lol
Machinist - and Odin themed gun of some sort
WAR - Odin themed axe
all of these things might make people want to play the instance to farm and not just get the clear. -

Being that the sword came from an Auri warrior i think it should go to a Samurai personally. While nothing outright claims what the former wielder was professionally, it stands to reason that the current model of the Zantetsuken does not seem to be the correct size for a nin dagger. Mind you as a future DRK i can certainly see the appeal of getting a great sword variant, it's possible ties to Othard would lend itself well to a story line introducing not only a new Samurai job, but also detailing lore on Au Ra, Othard, and Garlemald.
