Hello everyone,
I just came back after 4 months of not playing and I also changed my PS4, so when I log in again, I found that I lost all my macros. I'm exceptionally bad with macros so I was thinking if someone can help me with a couple of them, I had a raise macro that created a sound and a message when I was raising someone and also one when I used Virus, if someone has similar macros I will appreciate it since I was not able to find the thread where I found them, thanks in advance!

Change "Raise" to "Virus" etc. <se.5> is the sound change the number for different sounds.

Adding in /ta <t> will make the target a hard target. Usually as a healer you are soft targeting everyone besides the tank. -

OK, not everyone will agree but here's my take on it: don't use macros to heal. Just don't do it. It stops ability queuing which can lead to things simply not going off if there is any kind of latency.
Text echo macros to let your co-healer know you've cast raise etc? Fine. Make them separate to the actual cast though. -

05-11-2015, 07:48 PMSidaI think she's saying that you should use the raise skill as a pure skill, not as a macro. But in addition to that, have macro which announces in chat that you're raising someone. So yes, two button presses in case you do the announcement too. (And three if swiftcast was used) The reason being, you can get action sort of queued up even if you press it a bit before the previous cool down ends, that way making it launch exactly on the earliest possible moment. No such thing with macros, you can only use them after the previous cool down has ended and due reflexes, latency and all other fun stuff, it can cause from hardly noticeable to even serious delays.Quote:

However, what i have is a macro for Eos
something like that, it will tell Eos to use next embrace on a mouseover, or targeted or target of target person.Quote:

Useful to set priorities or force her to cast before the target is lower than 80%.
Eos is independent of your own skills and has a 1 sec wait time anyways, so killed ability queue doesnt matter. -

<tt> for heals, also fairyheals, is very clunky.
You macro will cause the fairy to heal herself when you target an enemy.
If you switch both lines (<tt> first), you might heal the wrong target too depending on what target it has.
shouldn't use it for heals. -

I happen to heal on a ps4 and do use macros but not in the manner most would expect....feel free to send me a message and I will even let you shareplay and see how I have mine set up...takes some getting use to but I do ok with it ..:-)

Love the Regen one lol. Quick question on this also as lately I'm having trouble with my Raise macro in that the other people will say it never popped up asking to accept raise, I'm wondering if it's due to the wait time in it. This is going by memory and can double check after:

What happens is I do it, swiftcast is definitely done on myself, and it looks like raise is (I noticed as well that I have to stand still while doing it), but people say it never comes up. This happens maybe once every 10 raises so normally it's no problem, but was doing Syrcus Tower yesterday and the other healer died, I used it on her, she just never came back to life, then later my friend died so used it on him and same deal. When I asked him he said nothing ever came up. Is 0.5 too short for wait? Was about to just remove this as a macro and do it all manually. -

You can add in <tt> if you're watching boss a lot. I would be VERY hesistant to add int <me> unless you are SURE you have macro timing down and never spam it. Spamming macros makes them unpredictable. Note: on PS4, you can change <mo> to <tt> and target the boss, for main tank healing. You'll have to manually swap between targets, however.

Assuming again your target is primarily MT. On PS4, just remove <mo>. Use it for stone II as well. -

My char is a little sassy tbh so my macros follow suit.
As far as useful ones, I have macro some dps to embrace so I dont have to switch between targets when dpsing and healing with the fey.
