I want to take a break, how long before I lose my house?

I am burned out and I want to take a break from the game. But it took me 2 months to buy and build my medium house. How long can I take a break before I lose my house?

dont think you can lose you house yet.. unless im mistake nothin has been implemented ;/

Yea you cant loose it. Wich is good but also bad on the other hand.

I thought it automatically gets relinquished after a month of inactivity by the owner?

You can't lose it.

Which honestly on that part I'm fine with...its the people who just have empty plots for months on end with no plans to build that need a time limit.

FCs get relinquished to the most "senior" member after a certain amount of time, but not the houses.
Though for people who run FCs just to have a house, it's effectively the same thing...though since personal housing became a thing this is a non-issue

SE did say at one time that they were going to implement something that would cause a house that went unused for 35 days to disappear and free up the lot for a new buyer. However, there was such an uproar about it here in the forums that they decided to back off on that idea. They have yet to announce any kind of a replacement for the feature. So for now, you will not lose the house at all.

You should probably keep a watch on the Lodestone and these forums while you are on break just in case SE announces something different.

The uproar on forum were against people that did not wanted it implemented.

I seriously doubt that this event happened, unless it was a long time ago.

SE and listening to the forum doesn't belong in the same sentence, and hasn't in at least half a year. SE doesn't care about its customers, and its silly to think that they do.

Case and point: RMT.

Yeah, sadly once you buy a house, you're stuck with it practically forever, regardless of your activity (or lack thereof). Because the housing system isn't stupid enough as it is anyway. I've been saving up since launch, and I still can't have my dream medium plot. Hooray.
