Leviathan's Raffle hosted by Stela Nokto!

Stela Nokto is throwing the first ever server wide raffle, below you will find more details on this raffle. d:D

Raffle rules:

Each name entry is 10k, a member can purchase as many name entries as they want, each entry will then be added to a RANDOM NAME PICKER (or a different site). All the gil accumulated via name entries will be given out to first, second and third place, additionally we will be giving out 100k a day to a random name entry(Once we have over 100 players, The gil given out during this will be coming from the FC). The Event will run 15 days 5/5/2015-5/20/2015. Stela Nokto's members including myself will be using party finder.

Name entry:

A name entry is basically your in game character name, say member is named Ayame House and the member would like to purchase 10 tickets(at 10K each) her name will be put into the name generator 10 times furthering her chances at winning the BIG PRIZE.

♢Stela Nokto FC members will not be participating in this event.

♢The event will be streamed via a Stela Nokto Twitch account.

The spreadsheet now updates the entries + Pot automatically.

Not to be a debby downer, but I wouldn't go gung ho about posting this on the forums, people were getting banned for this.

Trying to find the reddit post with the GM response, but iirc, they got banned perm or temporarily because the way the lottery ticket was pulled wasn't in game and couldn't be regulated, and they aren't ok with that.

That being said, it's a reasonable rule, but maybe over the top. Enjoy regardless :)

The problem I have with it is the lack of an entry limit. Someone could just buy 10k slots and bam. They'd pretty much automatically win. I think it should have a limit.

I see what you're saying and I completely agree. We will talk this over with the FC and see what the overall decision is. Since we have someone who has purchased 40 entries thus far, we will limit 40 entries till we come up with the decision. Thank you for the replies!

I recommend streaming it and posting the stream recording. It helped us when we did our multiple server lotteries to post proof of the draw. I invited those willing to join the twitch stream chat as wlel :)

Yeah we plan on streaming the raffle on the 20th, We have a twitch account for the FC and the info will be posted here soon.

What we did with our raffles were 10 ticket max on people wanting to buy.

Also, in regard to bans, we talked with GMS for our raffles and never got any bans.

We got the green light from GMs(we have screenshots) before even attempting something like this.
